I still haven’t grinded up to even tier 6 in this line, but this ship has been the reason why I haven’t tried to go up the line, but this video has slightly convinced me

I didn't like her when I was first testing the line, but she actually works pretty well. You do have to be careful not to be too aggressive, since the armour doesn't hold up, but the guns hit pretty hard (although the dispersion is dreadful), and the secondaries and torps make her quite viable against DDs as well. I'm increasingly shifting from cruisers to battlecruisers as my main class, tbh. The allrounder combo really helps a lot to compensate for teams.

What I've said for the longest time. Slai hates her, for example. Another style you can play it is like a kiting heavy cruiser, due to the gun layout. And if you get pursued by things like DDs and cruisers, it works out very well, especially because of the torp angles.

I hated the ship the first few playthroughs, but it really grew on me. I ended up really really liking this ship.

Same. I did maybe 5-10 rounds for the initial testing & review, and didn't like it at all, especially compared to the excellent T7 and 9. But playing her on my personal for the grind, I'm really starting to enjoy the rounds.

Not a BB player, but maybe one day I'll go for battle cruiser. I remember I had tons of funs on gneiseneau long time ago. Btw, could you do a review about yukikaze? It's in the shipyard, and I'll be interested to see your pov

Same here, hated the Zieten when I finished the Heinrich and free xp’d past most of the grind. But I’ve seen it played to very good effect, so I’ve come to realise it was probably me not getting hang of it as the rest of the line is not like it.

I finished Zieten's BHs just a two weeks ago. It was an awesome boat, and joyful BHs. It actually ended as my second best techtree BB by damage, only slightly behind Hawke(73k vs75k average) with a good MVP ratr of about 40%. After all reviews I was preeparing for a terrible boat, but it wasn't at all. It was probably one of the best. And fun fact, Zieten got even better stats than loved by everybody Odin. Odin has 72k average vs 73k on Zieten for me. So it is funny how public opinion can be different :)

I did not dig on Zieten BUT I do like T9 Prinz Ruprecht alot!🥳 I'm big on tight, accurate main guns so the Germans aren't normally my thing. The secondaries & torps are fun & devastating 😊

Yeah, T9 is going to be fun, so first I thought I'll just roll with it, but the ship continues to surprise me - more than once I've ended up in battles where I thought I did ok, just to look at the damage counter in the end, and it had all somehow added up.

Found the Zieten to be a solid ship and doesn't deserve the reputation it has, just stopped playing her once I got the Prinz R. as that ship is hilariously fun.

I feel like Lyon and Normandie are much better now too. I used Normandie recently and she was just a monster: Lots of citadels, good as HE spam and even able to win some brawlings lol

A real good ship at close combat. So this map is a good fit for it.

Absolutely, despite the eye-watering colours. Usually, those extremely island-heavy maps are DD havens, but ships like this can make short work of ambushing destroyers, so you can actually be more aggressive than in open maps. Which is why I actually went middle here, not something I would do in anything larger than a DD in an open one.

Zieten wasn't half bad when I had her, but she definitely couldn't brawl unlike the Schlieffen.

I really didn't like it much at the beginning, but even a Bismarck or a Tirpitz can easily take an Atlantico one-on-one. I'm just concerned about a tech tree line of Pan-American battleships...

Agree to disagree, Terry. I still think the Zieten stinks, and the grind through it is awful.

Seeing this i still prefer playing legends more and more. More strategy, better gameplay, doing damage is alot more painful, cv more balanced.
