if you want the tutorial to restart the pattern, the time stamp is at 1:18

I didn’t know printed images like that existed! The visual is super helpful 😆 beats trying to memorize the pattern. Tysm!

Glad that it helped! the patterns images definitely help, especially when starting or with harder designs :)

btw the two blue/purple ends on the far left in the beginning position need to be longer than the rest, as it gets used up more than the rest! ^_^

I followed the pattern and it works but I can't get my bracelet straight. It keeps on zig zagging side to side. I've tried tying my knots looser and tighter, I've also tried pulling all the loose strings as I tie the knots. How do you get your bracelet to be straight?

I'd like to know the answer too! This is a fun pattern and a good tutorial, and I'd love to be able to do it right

Love this tutorial so helpful! Every time I finish the pattern and begin to start over, my 2 left purple strings are significantly shorter than the other ones. So I don’t have enough to make a full bracelet. Am I doing something wrong?
@IslandBracelets3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! It is probably the way the pattern is unfortunately, you can make your strings longer before you start or another thing you can do it if you are doing a knot between two of the same color strings it doesn't matter what knot you do so you could do a forward backward to switch positions of the strings. Sorry if this is confusing! Let me know if you have other questions :)

What if you wanna make it wider? 🤔
@IslandBracelets3 жыл бұрын
you could add 2 more strings on the edges and follow the pattern the same but add forward backward knots on the edges, it's also called the "straight edges technique"

where did the loop knot go in the end? 🤨

How long should I cut the string at the beginning?
@IslandBracelets Жыл бұрын
You should do a wingspan length. I show it in the beginning and describe it in the video description

Odd to see a bracelet started on the right hand side. It's like doing the exact opposite I've been doing for a long time. Bummer.

So I followed your tutorial but my bracelet is kinda wavy, edges are wavy and I even made it twice but it looks the same.
@IslandBracelets3 жыл бұрын
sometimes it can be hard to keep them straight, the more you do it the better you will get, but you can also try the straight edges technique I believe Masha Knots has a tutorial on it. Let me know if you have any other questions! ❤️

this was extremely unhelpful. some parts were easy to understand but near the end, you assumed the viewer knew what to do after and that was not the case. stop doing youtube. :)

Oh I am so sorry to hear that you didn't understand. If you ever don't you can always go back and rewatch certain parts or even message me. I hope it works out for you :)
