It has been a little over a year since this video has been uploaded and I am so shocked by how much attention and popularity this video continues to gain. Because of the similar comments I am still seeing that had been mentioned when it first came out as well, I am going to reiterate and add on to last year's community post: When I uploaded this video, I had NO idea it would be watched by so many knotters with different levels of experience. There were (and still are) a lot of people viewing who are very new to bracelets and I didn't originally expect that, so I didn’t slow down and didn’t explain things clear enough. It is worth mentioning that simple does not equate to beginner, though, and a lot of people have been getting that confused--I never said in the video that this was a beginner tutorial. But for those of you who are new to bracelets and were unable to understand what I was teaching, I sincerely apologize. Not every single video of mine will be beginner friendly, but I do take many comments I receive into consideration and I am ALWAYS trying to do better with teaching. I welcome constructive criticism (NOT *HATE*) and even encourage it, so please don't hesitate to leave a comment on my videos. Your feedback and input is super important because it helps me learn how to do better moving forward.

For anyone wondering how to do the loop she did: 1. Lay out you string with one longer piece all the way to the left 2. Start at the middle of your string and make forward backwards knots as far as you prefer 3. Use the longer string and only the longer string That's really it I guess. It's not that complicated

Masha has a great tutorial on a threaded loops that I already linked and there are plenty of KZbinrs who make videos just specifically for beginnings and ends to bracelets.

@@Craftanatic I get what you're saying, it just came across kinda rude, but it's hard to tell when you're reading what someone wrote as opposed to hearing someone's tone of voice when they say something, maybe I just took you the wrong way! If so, I do apologize

This video is not for beginners! She talks nonsense that you cant understand like "you can double up and cut off a few inches on the end" double up what? Cut off what? and then she also talks like proffessional, like we, BEGINNERS, are supposed to know and under stand what she is talking about? that is not okay! DO NOT WATCH

Celine Hadadi Celine Hadadi Is there a pattern you’re specifically interested in or just any pattern? There are soooo many fun Aztec-looking patterns of there!

Great pattern and easy to follow. I definitely needed way more than 30-40 inches...

If you’re folding the strings in half then those numbers are doubled for each color but I know I didn’t explain that very well haha.
@thecrayolaeffect722 күн бұрын
@@Craftanatic Wait, 30-40 inches seems long, even for one color. Do you mean 30-40 cm?
@Craftanatic22 күн бұрын
I also think it’s too long, however I say 30-40” now (or 1 meter) because people have complained pretty frequently in the past that my recommendation (I personally measure closer to 32-34”) is not enough string. 🤷♀️ But now I try to be super mindful about stressing the importance of measuring out for what will work best for the length you want your bracelet to be.

How did you join the two middle treads together? (Green )
@Craftanatic5 жыл бұрын
Caitlin Raymond I did a forward knot, but you can do a forward or backward knot, whichever you prefer; they’re the same color so it won’t matter.

I use to make these a lot years ago. I sold them at Grateful Dead shows. The biggest one I ever made went from my wrist almost to my elbow. It was rainbow colors and so beautiful! It was 8 bracelets made into one. Great tutorial

I’m a beginner and I don’t know how to do the loop and you just skipped right over it just video obviously isn’t for beginners
@Craftanatic4 жыл бұрын
I never specifically stated the video was for beginners, but I didn’t show how to make the loop because I have the tutorial for it linked in the description box.
