Thanks for the reminder! So, the first bit I wanted to see was how it is just sitting there with the battery in. I've just tried it and it's still working since I created the video. I'll now start using it daily for the next couple of months and report back if it's still going.

@@lets-automate Hows the battery life going on it after 3 more months.... .... also I can't figure out how to use Node-red to switch and filter between the different button press types. Would love to see some context on setting this up for Node-red

Wow, another 3 months has gone by! Well, we have been using it each day in the bedroom to turn TV and lights on and it's still going at the moment. I recently bought some coin cell batteries for other sensors which were nearly flat from new. So the key is getting some good batteries. Re Node-RED... it depends on what zigbee coordinator you use really. There will probably be a related palette. But if you use Home Assistant and want to Automate it in Node-RED...I'll take a look. It's probably using the Device Node.

Time for another update... It's used a couple of times a day and it's still working with the original battery i out in it. It's also very fast and reliable. I really like this switch, I might buy another one!

Yeah, the number of different types of batteries I'm starting to need for these devices is growing!

The way I turn on/OFF lights is trough conditions, where if light is OFF, then turn on, and when its on it turns it off. this way I only need 1 button to turn lights on/off

Yeah, you can use conditions! I use the toggle services, switch.toggle and light.toggle. For this video I was just trying out the various buttons. Sometimes some of the entities on these cheap zigbee devices don't work correctly with Z2M or ZHA straight away and need "quirks" modifications. Thankfully, these buttons work fine other than the 4 strange battery sensor entities!
