Irish Setter dogs are very sweet. In the Peter and Jane books there is an Irish Setter male dog called Pat. They are honestly lovely dogs. 😊

What a gorgeous, happy, loving dog! Thanks for posting. Getting to see images of a dog that can communicate so much, just by how he smiles or frowns takes me right back to being 13, when my parents were getting a divorce, and my own Irish Setter seemed to be the only person in the world who understood my pain. He could float like a russet cloud when he ran, would lick my face whether I wanted him to or not, had energy I wish I still did, and was better at loving me and talking to me than one of two animals I've ever known, and I've been an animal lover since I can ever remember.
