The Doscincos will offer more bass over the Arete than you think. Those double isobaric DDs slam harder than the graph shows. I also have the Estrellas and even though they graph identical through 2-3k the Doscincos bass is louder and more impactful. I heavily recommend one of these Ziigaat sets. Go for Arete if you like balanced tuning. Go for Doscincos as one of the best basshead iems under $500. And go for the Estrellas if you like impactful bass and more airy treble and also wider soundstage and stereo field. It’s amazing what Ziigaat has done at $300 or less. They sound way more expensive. An important thing is that he is a gamer focus reviewer (even in iem) so imaging pin-point/ how defined is the stage is really important for him, so if this beat (idk cus i didn't try the Ariete) or is equal to the best in that price point imaging/soundstage wise, i think he got what he wanted the most. An example that i like to do is Juzear 41t vs Xsl x one, sound only wise Juzear is better no cap like a 10% better (is a different configuration obv, but anyway), but imaging/soundstage wise the xsl licterally oblitarate the juzear so for a gaming perspective the Xsl is 100x better as a choice over the juzear that's it.

@@Helmond2017 usually in the past (really close past) if an iem is like main focussed on gaming it sucks, like the Final Vr3000, Razer iem etc... but if u take a great sounding iem and just puts a lot of attention in how correctly the struments are positionating, boom u have a great "gaming" iem (It hurst call an iem "gaming iem", cus if its good for gaming is at to be good at music too, cus iem market Is 1000x more competitive than the headphones one). Another good example are the Xenns Top, they are great, but they cost a lot and u can buy something like the Variations or some similar tuned iem for similar/less price that do alot of things equal/slightly worse/better, but instrument location/separation/having a not to big/to small stage dimensions wise Xenns Top licterally "shit on" the Variations/Aful 5/8/99% of the current under 500€ iems and is one of the few iem with a really present HUGE bass (mid bass in this case) that can do that without blewing into mids/highs too much so u can't hear anything, so this make the Xenns Top really appetising for a competitive gamer that want great bass music (cus a really huge bass can be problematic in games) and great gaming iems. Btw still Simgot Supermix 4 price/quality wise even in gaming is a no brain choice (and the Em6L got famous not for the sound that for me is average but because they was the first under 200€ iem that gaming wise was equal/superior to product 2x 3x times the price like the Variations). I hope i explained something (obv hearing is subjective, but a good soundstage/Imaging are a good soundstage/Imaging)
