The one problem I see with the EM10 is that you can buy both a Supermix 4 and a DaVinci for almost the same price. The current market is absolutely cutthroat. Lots of praise here for the EPZ 530. I hope you get to do a comparison with the SLT6!

@@unclelou2366 you never will get one only good pair , the very good pair is never going to be good enough haha , this is an expensive hobby. We are always looking for some new and better, the old pair will make you feel sick , how long ago when you bought your very first item and now how many IEMs sets you have owned over how many years ? We are all chasing better ones, but the better ones only give you a little better or disappointing expectations .

I've had the VOLARE for just over a week. Totally different class - easily trades blows with any kilobuck IEMs. Easily. Already ordered one more set for my BFF, who's a well known singer songwriter as a gift to celebrate 🎉 her recent awards wins. The VOLARE is easily the finest and most capable IEM I've tested below around USD 900

​@@opulentotter8594 that's a good point, out of the 3, I have both EM10 (treble) and Hype (bass), and both have some sibilance but oddly the em10 treble is smooth for some reason. Sounds very similar to the mp145 but this one the sibilance is annoying. Not on the EM10

Not for me. Both the Supermix 4 and the EM10 still have too much of the Harmon 2019 in-ear IEM tuning which I do not like since this tuning does not work well for people with smaller ear canal volumes such that frequencies in the 3 kHz to 4 kHz range are very sibilant.

After long research I ordered the Hype 4 and now Jay says the EM10 is better, less bass and more detailed, but I take that with a grain of salt, while it may fit many people's expectations for me those tend to be sibilant. I was starting to regret my decision as I haven't received it yet, but your assessment of the tuning reassures me that I made the right choice

@@residentzero I looked at HBB's graph for the EM10. Strong U shaped tuning which is Harmon 2019 v2 tuning yet boosted in the bass and the upper midrange. Very ccooped midrange. Upper midrange will be sibilant after raising the volume to hear vocals.

In the case of these IEMs purchase them Yes I know what that means you know paying all this money but you can always return them purchase them trial if you don't like them get rid of them My ears canals are huge you could drive a truck through them what I like is different than what other people like so a lot of these reviews I don't even listen to cuz I know they're not for me. @@shamelessplace111 true but then none of us would be here watching these reviews. We want some advice and consensus but yes, at the end it's subjective, so both things can be right. By the way I already got the Hype 4 yesterday and immediately had buyers remorse; first, I don't really like how it looks, but I already knew that and still ordered them because I read reviews for the sound quality, so I can compromise (looks like girls oversized tacky earrings). That's fine. Then the fit: they're huge, a bit uncomfortable, and the 2 tips options the foam or silicone are still uncomfortable. And finally the most important thing: sound quality. I was totally underwhelmed. Only good thing is they're not bassy at all, and I'm thankful for that as I listen to classical music exclusively (I'm weird) sometimes rock. I hate bass music. Also watch a lot of TV and documentaries. So in that regards they're totally safe, but as I mentioned, very underwhelming, lame, boring, unremarkable. Nothing special, in fact they're a bit sibilant, but not excessively as my mp145 which I can't stand, so this sibilance I can get used to. But I thought, I can't justify this price, my ea500lm are much better. I was gonna return them but decided to keep them for a while as in my experience sometimes there's "burn in" and surprise, after listening for couple hours I was totally floored. It's like they changed my IEM's when I wasn't looking. Also I changed the eartips to the W1. I couldn't stop listening to them till late in the night, they're really good, I can sense how the multiple driver setup makes amazing soundstage, imaging, separation. The depth and tuning too. It's my first expensive earphone and I am impressed, I think it's totally worth it so I'm gonna keep it. I think I still might get the EM10 in the future though.

Hey Akros and thanks for the great vid! A question for all who are more experienced: My 2 top IEMs are 7hz Timeless and Mangird Tea. Looking to go up at least one step more above them at some point in time (around 500 bucks). Going all the way up to Thie Monarch mk2 seems too steep, so this Em10 is definitely on my radar (I own the EM6L too and really like it). What would you/you guys move up to from the previously mentioned IEMs? Thanks for all the help.

EM10 will complement the 530 very well. As for SLT6 it's currently out of stock. When it becomes available I will try to get it and review.

SLT6 IS A WASTE OF MONEY, I RETURNED,NO BASS I'M SURE THE STUDIO 4 IS 400% BETTER CAN BE 500%, I THINK DUE TO MY RETURN THEY ARE DOING SOME INVESTIGATION ON IT , IT MAY SOMEONE STUFFED CHEAPER DRIVERS INTO IT , ONLY I GUESS, MY SET WAS NO WAY IT'S A HIGH QUALITY SET , I WILL NOT PAY MORE THAN $150 FOR THAT.

It's uncertain if it'll even release. They were supposed to release in like October of last year, but due to treble issues that Resolve found in his initial impressions of the IEM, 7Hz has been continuing to work on them. Linsoul delisted the IEM from their store a while ago thanks to 7Hz being unable to give them an estimate for when they IEM would be ready for sale.

I actually really love that tuning. I got the ew200, ea500lm and EM10, and I really love their sound signature. The ea500lm is a bit different as it's more mid bass leaning and very good value. For the best Soundstage the EM10. And the EW200 great tuning but flat when you compare them, can't complain for their price

Akros - as a sound engineer and reviewer of Electronica, which of this batch is the most proficient in reproducing the aforementioned (mid- bass impact / drums focused / fast transience / prominent resolution and detail with vocals/instruments sitting further back in the mix to avoid shout/fatigue and thereby creating space and depth.
