Those who love Yazid and his lovers are destined for Hell
There should not be any doubt about the fate of the cursed Yazid. Not only was he a kafir and destined for Hell, but those so-called Muslims who love Yazid or the lovers of Yazid are destined for Hell. In this lecture Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri makes his views clear on this issue coupled with complete references to back up these views.
He also clarifies the distortions and misrepresentations made by supporters of Yazid on the hadith of Qustuntanya. As the Prophet SAW said that those who take part in the battle of Qustuntanya will go to Jannah. Followers of Yazid say he took part in that battle so he should not be cursed as a 'jahanami' but should be praised as a 'jannati'. This claim is totally false because Yazid did not even take part in the battle of Qustuntanya. As he refused to go and take part in that battle, he was sent by his father as punishment, afterwards, to go and take part, but by that time the Muslim army had finished its job and had left Qustuntanya, so Yazid was not part of that army. This is also discussed in detail by Shaykh-ul-Islam among other major issues regarding the fate of Yazid and those who follow and praise him.
Those who follow or praise Yazid are known as Kharijis and Shaykh-ul-Islam explains a tradition of Sahih Bukhari in detail that refers to Kharijis and how the Prophet SAW described them to be empty of Iman.

Hazrat Imam Hussain's (AS) message is not to compromise with evil forces: Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri
Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that the holy month of Moharram has been particularized for the members of one sect, while the fact remains that grief and anguish which this month symbolizes is part of faith of the Muslim community and it is not correct to confine it to followers of this sect. He said that Hazrat Imam Hussain is ambassador of love and peace, whereas Yazid is representative of terrorism, exploitation, and evil. He imparted lesson of not submitting before the evil forces whatever be the circumstances. The plains of Karbla, he said, gave birth to philosophies of Hussainiyat and Yazidiyat, which would remain relevant till the Day of Judgment. He said that advocates of Yazidi thought would continue to meet failure in their lives. By refusing to take allegiance at the hands of Yazid, Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) gave this lesson to humanity that those who sacrifice their lives for the sake of principles live throughout history and the dictators of the time lose in the final analysis.
Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri expressed these views while delivering his keynote speech telephonically from Canada at "Peghaam-e-Imam Hussain Conference". Sahibzada Faiz-ur-Rehman Durrani, Farhat Hussain Shah, GM Malik, Raja Jamil Ajmal and other leaders were also present on the occasion. He said that Yazid tried to disfigure Islamic teachings, which was not acceptable to the great Imam. He offered the sacrifice of his life and his family but saved Islam against any possibility of corruption and disfigurement. The behaviours of sacrifice, perseverance, patience, and selflessness issued forth from the great sacrifice of Imam Hussain (AS), which the world is benefiting today. The personality of the great Imam is as respectable for the non-Muslims as it is for the Muslims, for he elevated the status of humanity through his act.
Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri said that following the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS), the skies turned black and stars appeared on it during the day time and the heavens remained red for some time. According to some traditions, he said, it continued to rain blood. Other leaders also spoke on the occasion.

حضرت امام حسین رضہ کا مقام ومنزلت اپنی جگہ اہل بیت کی قدر اور محبت سبھی مسلمانوں کو ھے اور ھونی ھی چاہئے اسی محبت کے تقاضے کے تحت جلیل القدر صحابہ کرام ( عبداللہ بن زبیر عبداللہ بن عمر‌ رض وغیرہ ) کے روکنے کے باوجود وقت کی سب سے بڑی مسلح طاقتور حکومت سے بے سروسامان صرف ٧٢ لوگوں ( عورتوں اوربچوں کو ملا کر ) کا خروج کرنا کیا عقلمندی تھی ؟ ایسے میں جو ھونا تھا وہ ھوا ۔ اس واقعہ سے اور اسی طرح کے اور دوسرے واقعات سے مسلمانوں کو سبق لینی چاہیے ۔مگر نہیں لیتے ۔ تاریخ کا سب سے بڑا سبق یہ ہے کہ لوگ تاریخ سے سبق نہیں لیتے اور بار بار یہی غلطی کرتےرہتے ہیں کہ خود سے کہیں زیادہ طاقت ور سے ٹکرا جاتے ہیں اور بار بار برباد ہوتے رہتے ہیں ۔ اللاہ مسلمانوں کو عقل دے ۔ آمین !
