Beautiful cymbal. So many cymbal makers are going away from this sound, this cymbal is one of the only models metal drummer's can go for. Paiste still offers the rude cymbals and some other models but for Zildjian besides this you only have the a couple other models. Sabian discontinued their AAX metal models which I use an older one of their AAX metal rides, which is great. Metal guys like this mega bell ride, the earth ride and some older Z rides. A lot of guys are going to Meinl but for me they don't have that really heavy piercing sound like Paiste Rudes or the older Zildjian and Sabian cymbals.

Right you are, I own an AAX Metal ride as well and while Sabian have released the Heavy rides they're not the same at all. They've got more body which the Metal rides lacked, but the stick definition isn't as good. Feels like these new rides are going towards Paiste's Signature Reflector Bell ride. Not a bad thing but not the same either.

Zildjian also discontinued their heavy cymbals such as rock ride, projection ride, rock crash, and heavy crash.

There are still very many brands that do heavy, big bell rides. Meinl has multiple in their Classics Custom series, both 18" and 20" in Dark and standard. They also have the cheapest in their HCS brass series which is 18" and it's a killer cymbal for being brass. Paiste has their 2002 18" Gigabell ride, Rude 24" Eclipse ride and the 900 Series Mega ride. Zildjian has, well, this ride in the video and imo the A Custom Ping ride is great for metal too. Sabian has the HH Power Bell ride which is awesome, they also do custom work so you can get pretty much anything you want. Thomann has their brand Zultan which just came out with an F5 18" Mega Bell ride. Great price too but is european so shipping outside of EU can be pricey. Impression cymbals has a mega bell in all of their Illuminati series' rides, but you can request it to their other series too. Rech cymbals has the Nuclear Black rides which are great for metal, and their Atomic Reching Bell cymbals come in 18"-24". Sihi cymbals has the Kaaos Mega Bell rides, they're also local to me which is awesome. T-cymbals has the Kevin Paradis signature Mega Bell rides as well as the Metal Shop Mega Bell rides. GM Designs has the Jupiter which has an insane 10" bell and it sounds so damn good. Those are just some that popped to my head. I'd say there's maaaany choices, just gotta look around for a bit. I mostly listed mega bells because I'm a huge fan, but there are other heavy pingy rides in these companies' catalogs.
