This kit has gotten me very excited. I was seriously considering a DWe kit but the thought of these cymbals seems a fair trade for the cool convenience of wireless. Each of these companies are breaking new ground in electronic drums. I have a concern. You seem to be having difficulty in easily triggering the side stick sample. That is problem that I'm going to have to watch for a while. Also, it would seem that the drums have no rim sounds at all (not talking about cross stick or shots) but just trigger the center head sample.

Why do all the samples sound so thin? The cymbals especially, but the drums sound like they have almost zero ambience. Does it sound better before youtube compression?

It sounds slightly better on the lowend before YT compression, but this is essentially what you get with the current sound library. We did take it and demoed with a few churches and let them play it through a Nexo Line Array system, and it sounded phenomenal. There is a chance if you dig deeper into the settings that you can get a beefier more rounded sound out of the samples. When we filmed this we did a factory reset, and just let it be what it is fresh out of the box.

Sounds thin and machineguning . The cymbals are the big advantage in comparism to other Kits.

Can you play single quarter notes on center of the head? 99% of the top 100 hits are played there that's what we need to listen to.thks
