Zimbabwe's Road Infrastructure: Progress Update 2023

Zimbabwe is making significant progress in upgrading its road infrastructure, with several major projects underway across the country. In this video, we take a look at the latest developments in Mashonaland East, Manicaland, Mashonaland Central, and Mashonaland West provinces.
Key milestones include:
The completion of the Rwenya Bridge in Mashonaland East
The dualization of the Harare-Marondera road
The construction of new roads and bridges in Manicaland, including those damaged by Cyclone Idai
The upgrading of the Ruya-Mukumbura and Mahuhwe-Kanyemba roads in Mashonaland Central
The dualization of the Norton-Munyati road in Mashonaland West

Imagine if Vic Falls was in Mashonaland the amount of publicity and marketing that would go into it the quality of roads leading to it. Lets call a spade a spade maybe our beloved government will realise that we are watching. I have travelled almost all roads in Matebeleland all i can say is our leaders should be ashamed. I sincerely wish i was Shona in Mashonaland.

Kwasara in towns, we need proper roads with proper markings. All suburbs need proper tars kusvika pa gate, then side walks to prevent pedestrian accidents. Look at roads in Rwanda.

WE need to be honest with our selves Chamisa is not the answer most african countries will go through what Zimbabwe has gone though to reclaim their dignity especially with land and ownership issues. Kwekwe-Nkayi road needs attention. I relocated to Silobela in 1997. The road was done 10km from Crossroads to just after Loreto turn off. Imagine 1997-2023?
