Btw, I've beaten the game for the 10th, if not more time recently. The years go by, everything changes, and this game is like a magic wand stopping it for a while allowing to immerse myself every time I play it. :) I'm happy I could not only understand this World, but feel it and live it.

Shenmue always been a big part of my life I’m 30 now but can remember playing this as a 10/11 year old and thinking it was the best thing ever. Even now I’m looking every so often for more news for the 4th so I can experience that again! Such a shame it is so uncertain.

I beat Shenmue I for the 11th time a couple nights ago. Only beat Shenmue II twice. Both are amazing games. Shenmue III is only decent.

lol didn't think that one through :P but it's true that each place on earth has its own sights, sounds, tastes, and smells. That in itself is the beauty of it. I'm sure Hong Kong has its own unique charms.

SledgeNE Yu Suzuki are looking at getting paypal. It would be best if they opened paypal after the kickstarter ends and leave it open during the developement of the game. $10 million would be more realistic to reach then :)

Tommy Sasaki Yes, i think too, that there is no much time for editing Paypal in Kickstarter. I would support, but i don't feel like it to opening a virtual credit card just for one time support. I will hope i can support after Kickstarter ends, i want to have the retail copy for PC. ;-)

Honestly, I believe that Shenmue is the best game I have played in my entire life. I've played hundreds of other games since my childhood, but Shenmue isn't just a simple video game, it is a true artistic masterpiece. You just have to play it for understand the reason.

Great series...I remember seeing screenshots of it and thinking WOW that looks so fun, I was a kid who played n64 adventure games like oot just to explore and sort of "exist" in towns so as a kid this game really interested me recently right before covid I got the two pack and really loved it, it actually sort of felt like playing an old n64 game in a way and I really enjoyed it but I think I would have loved to have a chance to play it growing up instead of now at 28, still a cool experience!

old games are better today anyways, you have rtx to mix in, fast internet for piracy, emulation enhancements or pure emulation, there's so much today like generating AI images, it's like taking drugs without drugs. The bad thing is that there is no bandwagon and real trendiness to old games anymore.

shenmue 1997 japanese dreamcast my first videogame orgasm , so cute every details , SEGA directors made bankruptcy stealing money from the company ... now is only 1 game per year and for other consoles ...sega empire is ofiicially dead , very sad
