So to keep the base gel u dont need to reapply another coat just to make sure adhesion is solid? Since u r using oil n acetone to remove strips, its not going to mess w the base coat at all? (Like the oil penetrating into base coat causing less adhesion?)

No, but it may help if you have adhesion issues with the strips.
