16:29 I'm with Alex here, I put in over 300hrs before I was ready to face Ganondorf, simply because I didn't want the game to end and although you can keep playing after, it doesn't feel quite the same and I have less motivation to complete things after that. So I tried to do as much as possible before, and just kept putting the final boss off!

I can agree to that somewhat - but I'll be honest. That's simply because Tears actually has _Fun Zelda stuff_ to do! Like actual Dungeons. Whereas Breath was a never-ending spiral of cope (I spent just over 100+ hours desperately trying to find where any real Dungeons were before uninstalling the game.)

@@wouterdutch4706 Ikr?? 👍💯 The thing I always notice is the people who say they dislike Tears always say the same generic; ''I could not get into it'' or ''the Story didn't do it for me''. I can never understand those people after We got Breath that literally did _nothing_ apart from acting as the Perfect tech demo to announce the Switch with a bang. Don't get me wrong: thats still very _important_ , but as a Zelda game? It blows. Important =/= Fun.

I did beat Ganadorf hoping for a post game but there is none - I do regret a bit doing the boss fight but it's a glorious one. I have too many other games on my list but need to get to some of these side quests

When TotK came out, my then fiance (now wife) would just have a video chat up while we both played through... then we'd mute our mics during cutscenes to avoid spoilers. 385 hours in and I could still do more.

I'm doing exactly what Alex is doing as well. I'm nearly 230 hours in TotK and still won't face Ganondorf. I want to at least finish exploring the Depths before I go to the final fight, despite having been ready for it for a long time now. That's because I know that as soon as I complete the main story, I'll move on to other games (if only because of how large my backlog is).

What I love about these videos is: everyone has different answers, and there's always a game I forgot about that I get to rediscover. I completely forgot about FE: Engage and WarioWare. Still haven't gotten to Bomb Rush Cyberfunk. I spent so much time with Zelda, Baldur's Gate, Dredge, and Dave the Diver, I didn't get around to finish everything I wanted to. 😅 Many thanks for such a great year, Zion!

7:10 other versions don't have a 60fps mode cuz the game just runs natively at 60fps on every other platform. I actually keep this off cuz when i turn on the camera function it messes with the framerate and it even crashed the game once on switch. Very rare but yeah, still an issue for Bomb Rush Cyberfunk on switch, even tho that's what I bought the limited physical version on, bought it at release on PC cuz the game's mod scene is Crazy good!

I didn't fight the final boss in Zelda: TotK until I did everything I wanted to do in the game. That ended up being 420 hours.

Fire Emblem: Engage is such a funny game to me. When I beat it, I called it "A perfect 5/10". Three Houses is my favorite Fire Emblem game, one of my favorite games of all time. However, I feel like it's gameplay left some things to be desired. It was very good, but part of it felt off. Engage fixed that in the best way. In terms of gameplay alone, it's not just the best Fire Emblem game in my opinion, but one of the greatest games ever made. The gameplay is within the top ten games I'd say have near to perfect gameplay. I LOVE it! And it's good music too, so cant go wrong there. But dear God, my praises sure stop there. The character design ranges from decent to god awful. Especially the villains. I HATED thier designs (except for the ones that were so obviously going to defect to the good guys). Zephia has probably the worst design of any character I've seen......ever. Griss was just plain annoying. And the story feels like they had a great idea, but decided to stop writing halfway through the rough draft and slapped something together at the last minute. Story wise, Engage is one of the worst games I've ever played. Fire Emblem Engage is a perfect 5/10.

TotK is a slog. Started off fun, but fell off so hard. The game design is such a mess. Far from the worst game I've ever played, but definitely the most disappointing after the initial hype. BotW is leagues better.
