He important role in training his stepson in the early stages of his career although Zion's mother was also his first basketball coach. Zion Williamson even credits the hard training that he got from his mother to be the reason behind his being able to play in the NBA . So yes if his biological father hasn't left him; there's a great chance that Zion could have played in the NFL .

I don't think the loss to the lakers was due to his weight or anything. He played his part and made his shots but the lakers put up good defense on him after the 1st quarter.
