The notion of Israeli colonial aggression is a popular lie of arabs and Islamists around the world. Massad's views on all subjects is completely warped.

@@MustacheVerra of course they do - having Israel centralized in the heart of Arab nations is the key ingredient to making sure these countries never unite. Should the Arab world unite it will mean checkmate to all the super powers in the world. Of course they do.
@williams.19803 жыл бұрын
This is unusually valuable because he lays out in straightforward way how Israel was a project of European elite anti-semitism well before the atrocities of WWII. This is usually a fact that is not even considered or understood. And this is something that is much less appreciated because the US is a relatively young nation and skyrocketed to being the biggest industrial power at break neck speed. So US culture is quite content being the moral superior of the world for taking care of one of the most persecuted peoples in history. That is what is on the front page and the more honest story is not even in the paper so to speak. There is a reason that states are basically taking propaganda pledges to obey the US. I was joking in another comment the other day that Blinkin was going around to other governments and telling them they have to support fascism or pay a price. This is actually the exact policy with Israel. If you don't go along with the anti-semitism farce you are in the crosshairs of US empire. Not a good feeling I'm sure. Maybe historians, I mean historians who aren't already committed to the colonial state zionist position out of fear for their career. Maybe historians need to play a bigger role in this discussion. It sounds like understanding the decades before WWII would do a lot in empowering people with an accurate understanding of the political, cultural, European, and colonial origins of the dispossession of the people of Palestine. And now the reality of the situation is becoming a threat to the Israeli plutocrats and the US sick state. The deep sick state.

@peterhaitch750710 ай бұрын
This is terrible, the Israelis are treating the Arabs who have lived there since Old Testament times like the Nazis treated the Jews, how is that possible? I am beginning to feel that the Israelis should not pull the Nazi card until they treat the Palestinians as fellow human beings. Hamas and Nazis are the same thing, but not all Palestinians are Hamas, just as not all Germans were Nazis. And I applaud the minorities on both sides who are calling on their own people to wake up and stop the madness. Hamas wouldn't exist without IDF just like ISIS with USA , IRA UK , list goes on history repeating , one would think that wise Hebrews and yes they are very wise , wouldn't make such a mistake?

Glad that the Palestinian flag is flown from by Celtic football club fans in games. Because of this and more specially in the north of Ireland the Palestinian flag is still seen on flags poles in areas of Republican areas.. the native Irish people who got cut on the wrong side off the border and still under British rule up on till the late 90s, it's not hard to understand the British hatred towards the catholic minority in the north of Ireland and who there friends were protestants and loyalists and were there affinity for Israel comes from, yes makes perfect sense.. my heart breaks as I know my countries history and it was evil and a genocide in its own right imagine what the Palestinian people are going through.. I not religious and don't care what religion but wrong is wrong, come up with any reason for the treatment that they go through, it's the biggest scab still going on in the world don't care what anyone says I really do but they have been stabbed in the back many times, it's true zionists are the most evil monsters after the ww2. With the help of America but most European countries. Is-ra-al don't like the thought of politicians in Ireland bringing up the Palestinian cause. Happens more than you would think. Richard boyd barrett telling the is-ra-ali foreign minister he should be expelled from the country. It's a dieing breed but all the major political party's are all compromised in the west and most Islamic countries. The Shia muslims are the resistance.. from Syria to Iran.. Yemen all the countries that are mostly Shia are hated by Zionism and its allies in other countries in the region... 🙏🙏🙏🤝

When and where is the line that one has to cross to become the 'original inhabitant' of a land? A more concrete example: why among present day revolutionary leftists is it alright for a Palestinian to long for Haifa and Jaffa but a right wing fantasy for the Greeks to long for Constantinople?

@@wahidazal Fine then the Palestinians also have Tel Aviv, Ashdod, Jerusalem, and Be'ersheba, except they are Jews.

@@erics7992 Not the same. Anatolians are Muslim Greeks. The residents of Tel Aviv, Ashdod, Jerusalem, and Be'ersheba are for the most part Ashkenazis whose Israelite pedigree is questionable but originated in Europe. You would have a point if the Turks of Turkey were descendants of Mongolians and Central Asians, the real Turks.
@erics79923 жыл бұрын
@@wahidazal I am very dubious that the modern day Turkish inhabitants of Anatolia are anything but Central Asian Turks. During the Ottoman times there were large populations of Greeks living there but they were all expelled in 1922 and it was done for nationalistic and not religious reasons.
@wahidazal3 жыл бұрын
@@erics7992 Therein is the problem because many of you white nationalists don't know your history or ethnography very well and make stupid generalizations that have no basis in historical facts. Modern Anatolian Turks are NOT ethnically Central Asian. This has been proven time and again. They are by and large Greek remnants together with Persians (which includes Kurds) and some Arabs. The Greeks expelled in the early 1920s were done so for reasons largely having to do with language and religion, and almost nothing to do with genuine ethnography which the waning Ottoman authorities of that time didn't have the slightest clue about. Besides, the father of modern Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, himself was most probably of Greek stock, especially given where he was born and where his family came from. So keep trucking!
