Sherrill, when I’m wondering what I can do with a small, but not too small, piece of leftover fabric your channel is one of the first places I go to for inspiration! You are an incredible teacher. Can’t wait to make my wristlet out of a small piece of super cute floral fabric that I had from a tank top I made this summer. Thank you for your patience and guidance. Sewing is fun, again, thanks to you 🙏🏻❤️

@@anitagreen7425 yeah, haha I love watching these videos cause she teaches for people like myself who's at this speed. I've been sewing a little bit for years, but took a whole 360° turn 2 years ago. Decided to learn how to quilt, to keep me from gaining weight with all the lockdowns. It worked. But I'm still trying to master skills and learn what all the different feet are for. Its fun.

I've even took her advice on the cardboard to organize fabric. I have way more than I thought.

Hi Sherrill, What a good idea to have a whistle attached to the wristlet. 👏 I really like the wristlet. Thank you for sharing this handy little wristlet, for me it’s the perfect size and so light weight it doesn’t hurt my wrist. Thanks again and have a lovely weekend. 🥰 Chris-Raleigh NC

Cheryl you're my go-to for watching videos on how to make wonderful useful items and fun stuff. I also have two questions 1. I received a pattern instruction for making four-sided placemats in the pattern piece is huge oval for the placements. I don't understand the instructions in the least. 2. I was making banana bags from a distributor... I can't remember who she is. I will find these and send you a picture. I can't finish them because, I'm spatially challenged. Of course I want to know your thoughts on that too. I understand as soon as I send you a picture.

I like your pouch making videos and I’m wondering if you could demonstrate how to make a pouch with tabs on the zipper. I’ve watched lots of videos on how to make zipper tabs but I feel sure that you will have a way of making them which would be easy to copy.

Hi Cheryl. I hope this isn't a "dumb" question...can you box the corners on this bag like you did on the other ones? I like sewing the lining on the way you did this one rather than 2 separate pieces. Thanks. Love your channel & enjoy your videos. Anne

Hi User-nk8x. The measurements are listed in the Description section below your KZbin screen. Scroll down below the video screen until you see the word "more". Click on "more" and the Description section will expand out showing the measurements. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching💗 and happy sewing😍

I really like this but I am am an eye on learner. That is I don't see how exactly unless I see the entire project being made. Like, being able to see the person sewing. I get the idea from you but then I usually, most of the time have to find one just like yours but one that shows the sewing also.
@TheSewingRoomChannel2 жыл бұрын
Hi Lisa. I understand. Does your sewing machine have lines on the throat plate that indicate 1/4", 1/2", 5/8", 1"? If not, do this. If you need to do a 1/4" wide seam, then place a long piece of tape that is 1/4" away from your needle. Then place the raw edge of your fabric along side the tape. Then stitch your seam. This is what you do every time the instructions say to stitch a particular seam width. The more you sew the easier it will get, and it will become natural to you. Let me know if you need more help. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
