After topstitching near the zipper, when it comes time to sew around the perimeter of the front/back and lining pieces, these seams are sewn at 3/8". The pattern download does say that all seams are 3/8" but it isn't mentioned during that part of the video, so someone (ahem...) might get confused. :o) This is such an adorable project! Just made one and added a shoulder strap for my 9 year old niece. Thank you, pattydoo!

Thank you for this tutorial, and I'm jealous of your Bernina! I love how you back stitch so methodically; excellent instructions. I made this pouch today as a gift for my sister and it turned out beautiful! After the 9 minute mark you mention a 5/8" seam allowance (in subtitles) from the "top" when sewing the zipper. This should say from the "end" otherwise it translates 5/8" from the zipper. I'll be following all your tutorials. Thank you from America!

Your attention to detail is superb! Im putting this on my "to do" list. The only change I would make is, I would leave the side seam open for turning. I'm thinking the seam would be less noticeable on the side as opposed to the bottom. Maybe its my OCD! Beautiful work young lady! Looking forward to more videos. Have a great day
