I can’t refill mine. It’s not this model; it doesn’t have the flexible neck. But I’ve released the air, and I still can’t get it to accept fluid and light itself again.

Hi there, Zippo! I've had my lighter now for several years and I still like it a lot. One minor problem now, though....despite emptying it and refilling it per your instructive video, the flame size now, when it does light, is only about a quarter of an inch long and extinguishes easily. I am pretty handy with this sort of thing, but I cannot figure out how to dismantle the lighter in order to adjust the flame to a higher output. Can you give me some assistance??? BTW- I have 3 of your Zippo pocket lighters and all are still plugging along! :-). Thanks in advance for any help you can give me!

Hey, Zippo! I finally found a decent video showing how to properly COMPLETELY purge the lighter of all fluid and air (take your time, it takes a few minutes to do so); I then re-filled my lighter and LET IT SIT for about15 minutes to warm up, and now it is functioning properly! Happy camper here! :-)

@@zippo Thank you for your quick reply and the link to contact your Consumer Relations Team. For some reason, my lighter 'reverted' back to a very small flame after I replied to you yesterday. I will contact the Zippo support team and arrange to send it in for a 'tune up'. It's too nice a lighter when it works to just toss it and buy another. :-). Again, I thank you!!!!!!!!

this is pretty much the same as me. It won’t light at all if the setting is all the way on the (-), and it lights only about 1/4” and goes out immediately.

Hey Zippo, how would you clean candle wax from the tip of this lighter? I accidentally dropped it into a large jar candle and now it won't light anymore. I already tried to melt out the wax, and I can hear the butane leaving and see the spark igniting, but there's no flame :(
