These players should set a fee for the agents that is reasonable, otherwise the players are creating barriers to transfers. The same can be said about release clauses I don’t know why they allow such high amounts which puts their move in jeopardy.

I never thought I would be defending a Kia Joorabchian, but here goes. I find it refreshing that he insists on realistic release clauses for his client. It helps bigger clubs to make deals and not pay the exorbitant amounts demanded by the likes of Benfica. FFP and PSR is making agents like him think properly about themselves and their client and about their ambition. Football clubs have used players like meat for years. If they overpay for their agents, that's their prerogative. United fans would have to be realistic about players like Zirkzee wanting to move on too. It's the way of world now.
