I bought an old 100 year old concert zither to restore and learn on sadly we moved house and it 'got lost' or taken by someone so I never did get to try it. TTM is one of my alltime favorites ever. Seeing how it's played freaks me out. The instrument.... Imagine tuning the thing first, then pressing the strings from above (which is just a matter of getting used to, I guess), then plucking the bass strings with your hand (pinky) spread out that wide. I don't know if playing an instument gets any more difficult than this. Kudos to this man! Astonishing what the alpine farmers came up with.
