@ncissmart I'm not entirely sure it really means anything, it's a phrase Dickens invented I think. Basically the main character of a Christmas carol is Scrooge a miserable old grump who hates christmas, so whenever someone says something like 'tis the season to be charitable' or something similar his response is always 'bah humbug' which is basically another way of saying 'ah rubbish!' or 'that's nonsense' you know something like that, I'm sure you must have a German equilivant. Hope that helps
