Thanks for another great video ZK. It was interesting and informative and enjoyable to watch. Nice work on this one ZK. Appreciate the fact that you got the basic fix done for this owner and let him decide how much farther he wants to go fixing the situation and of course the dollars he wants to lay out. My personal opinion is this tractor did not have the best of care before he got it and probably he is not wanting to spend a great deal on it. I admire you for getting the track retention and fixing the cylinder for him so the tractor can do its job although understanding it needs more work to make it 100 percent right. The owner can decide from there. Seems now days some owners want everything 100 percent right and others want it fixed to do the job and look at the other repairs as money permits. Each to their own. You did great on this one ZK and made the tractor usable. Nice work. The combine you are going to sounds like an interesting repair. Will be anxious to hear about that one. Have an interesting feedback opinion for you. And I know you keep up with the other KZbin folks so I will use names. The Larson’s had one of their combines go down first day of harvest. What completely shocked me was the engine motor came completely apart- - took the hole side of the block out, you could see inside the motor and piston and crankshaft parts all over the place. I have NEVER seen a combine engine do that before, wow wow!!!!!!! My question is have you seen that before where the side of the block virtually came apart??????? I was shocked when they filmed it. Wow. Your opinion please!!!! Obviously they are looking for a motor or a replacement combine to keep harvest going. Feel bad for them. Hard way to start harvest. Now back to you and your very professional work on this tractor. You got it going for the owner which is what he wanted. As always super work and teaching us ZK!!!!! You are appreciated!!!!!! The Iowa farm boy. Steve. 😊👍👋✅🇺🇸🇺🇸

Yes I've seen low hour failures like that on the 13.5L's. We had one knocking and were bringing it into the shop and it threw a rod out of the side of the block. I yelled at Patty, "don't stop! Keep it going into the bay!". Didn't want to have to drag it. Lol what a mess that made

We have a very old cat D6 and it has a grease fitting you pump grease into the cylinder that tightens the tracks and they still work perfect
@ianmckay1780Ай бұрын
Thanks Zeth, that was interesting. It made a change to see the bushings slide out like they did, I know that is a rarity, so well done on that score. At least they were getting some grease where is needed to be, if not the rest of the wheels, but when did you last check your wheel rims honestly? Hope you get to show us the rest of the repairs, that would be equally interesting. From UK.

He might be able to weld that crack a bit at a time, so as to not damage the rubber by overheating it. Maybe do 3/16 inch segments.

Zeth let me help you out with the scammers. I do this all the time. My wife says I’m crazy haha. Ask them what they’re wearing and then tell them that turns you on. Then ask them if they like to wear sandals. If they say yes, tell them you just love a set of good lookin toes! If they say no, ask why they have ugly feet. Zeth they NEVER call back! 😂😂
