The 4th is just so direct, it is a question "why did this have to happen..."

Ahh the great Bechstein - allowing such beautiful music to be created.

Stunning. In particular, the first prelude is so beautiful in such a heartbreaking manner. You truly have become one of my favorite living pianists.

On of my favorite opuses. You played them so soulfuly. First prelude ending is just connecting to another dimension through diminished 7th chord and organ pedal. Pure Bach's character with soul of Scriabin's melody.

You played No. 3 in such a moving manner. Such a haunting melody

I like your slower tempo. It's like rediscovering and hearing those preludes for the first time

Well done Zlata. Love hearing you play Scriabin on the big beautiful C. Bechstein. Scriabin and Bechstein were made for each other.

Fabulous. And it is also wonderful to see you challenging the hegemony of Steinway (as Pletnev has done with Shigeru Kawai). An ear-opener for me was hearing P-L Aimard play Scriabin, Liszt, Debussy and some others at the Wigmore Hall (ex Bechstein Hall) on a Bechstein from 1899. In this case, we hear the famous 'silveriness' of the Bechstein sound, but maybe not so much the over/undertones of that earlier piano.

Absolutely love this set, especially no. 1. I have studied this prelude and played it quite a bit over the years. Stunning beauty.

No matter how good is the piano, if the recording is not good. This recording and ambience is spectacular. 🎉❤
