He played , he didnt coach. He is talking thinking star players (if ManUtd has even one) should be treated like kings, caus no one ever says no to him. Thats wrong with modern football: the players rule. While it should be the other way around: you get paid buttloads of money so you give it a 1000%! Thats the difference with last season: the players think they are big stars again.

@@Pieter-ns5nvthere are players that give it their all that are big stars though… they just play for different teams than United. Ten Haag is partially responsible since some of them he recruited. Even from his old club that are playing like ass. They don’t recruit the big stars with good mentality which teams like Liverpool and city do.

@@Pieter-ns5nvso many coaches said no to Zlatan, starting from Van Gaal at Ajax arriving to Pep at Barca. Zlatan has always been a star, but you need to separate his arrogant side from the overall player, because he surely had many defects, but he was an amazing player. He had balls to tell Wenger that he didn't do trial when he was an Ajax player, and in his early 20s he had Capello as manager in a stellar dressing room (Capello other than the coach of the "Invincibles" Ac Milan who beated 4-0 Cruijf's Barca in the CL final, was also known as a coach with high temper and authority. Pep didn't treat him as he was expecting, but even if Barca was a dream for him, Ibra took his own path and kept winning and deciding football in Europe and US, coming back in Europe for an incredible Scudetto with Milan. He know what he's talking about. And ten Hag didn't pay Ronaldo the respect that deserved, because you can take any decision that you want as a coach, but if you can't cope with the personality of one of the best players ever that can give some winning knowledge only by being there, you've already failed.

Biggest issue is that people still think united is united .. its not. Theres no big players and they stopped competing.. When the team gets fucked over and over , and theres a manager who tries to fix it , it takes time. United fans wanted to give him a year , but thats not realistic as 5years of buying talents for the future.. doesnt improve the team overall, it just creates a big mess with allot of players that expect to play.

@@Muckito Bruno is a good playmaker. Look at chances created. Look at his workrate. His attitude hinders his game but Bruno is nowhere near average. Average playmaker can't create that many chances in pl. Garnacho isn't incredible but isn't average either. He's averaging 7.09 this season. Bruno started his career in prem with 1.13 g+a then 0.87, then 0.46, then 0.43, then 0.54 this season. just slightly higher than odegaard. odegaard highest g+a is 0.63. If odegaard is a good midfielder then why not bruno? he's always been of the highest key passer, chances creator, goals contributor with high workrate among epl playmakers for years. I mean yeah he's inferior compared to KDB. But if you mention KDB to compare playmakers that's like comparing Ronaldo and Messi to Nedved. KDB being better than Bruno doesn't make Bruno less great just like how Ronaldo and Messi being better than Nedved doesn't make Nedved less great.

@@SW-fn7cl I feel like firing Ten Hag will bring united back to square zero. United has many problems, look at the coaches that have come and gone since fergie left they mostly did well in their first season and subsequently got fired in their second season after poor results. You hear some people say united should hire Zidane, Zidane is not coming to united. United approached Zidane after ole was sacked if I remember correctly. zidane declined sighting barrier in communication because he isn't the best English speaker. He was wise using that as a avenue to turn united down. United has many troubles even Zidane will probably get sacked if he was at united.

@@comfortkabanshi5048 At United maybe each GK goes through this. When Onana came to Inter, he wasn't in the first team right away and the fans screamed that he be given the spot. Handanovic was really good at his prime, but last season and the year before, were not his prime. Inter fans knew this and made Onana feel welcomed. And he dragged us to the CL Finals (obv. not the semi finals since we crushed AC Milan, but the round of 16 and QF were both very tight games, where Onana contributed a lot). Stars may deserve different treatment, but stars are successful players... winners... and many of the current Utd players are not stars by that measure. They deserve the treatment of the young player who needs to be raised up. But maybe they think they should be treated like winners just because they are at Man Utd? If so, the solution in not that ten Hag changes his approach; it's that the players humble themselves. When the players behave like winners, show the mentality of winners, then ten Hag will alter his approach and not be so demanding because he will see the evidence that these players place these demands on themselves.

AJAX's development orientation is to train young players and then sell them to make money for the club. MU, on the contrary, has just trained young players to bring them to the A team and compete to win big titles like the Premier League and Champion League. 10Hag approached MU's star players similarly to AJAX's approach to young players who have not yet won any major titles.😊
