Thats the difference with last season: the players think they are big stars again.

@@Pieter-ns5nvthere are players that give it their all that are big stars though… they just play for different teams than United. Ten Haag is partially responsible since some of them he recruited. @@Pieter-ns5nvso many coaches said no to Zlatan, starting from Van Gaal at Ajax arriving to Pep at Barca. Zlatan has always been a star, but you need to separate his arrogant side from the overall player, because he surely had many defects, but he was an amazing player. He had balls to tell Wenger that he didn't do trial when he was an Ajax player, and in his early 20s he had Capello as manager in a stellar dressing room (Capello other than the coach of the "Invincibles" Ac Milan who beated 4-0 Cruijf's Barca in the CL final, was also known as a coach with high temper and authority. Pep didn't treat him as he was expecting, but even if Barca was a dream for him, Ibra took his own path and kept winning and deciding football in Europe and US, coming back in Europe for an incredible Scudetto with Milan. He know what he's talking about. And ten Hag didn't pay Ronaldo the respect that deserved, because you can take any decision that you want as a coach, but if you can't cope with the personality of one of the best players ever that can give some winning knowledge only by being there, you've already failed.

Bruno started his career in prem with 1.13 g+a then 0.87, then 0.46, then 0.43, then 0.54 this season. just slightly higher than odegaard. odegaard highest g+a is 0.63. The urge to fill the big shoes of Alex Ferguson is huge along with his skill set, mentality, refs in his favour at times, luck, you cannot just replace that, the closest was Jose who they treated like crap due to the Man United “ego”. The club needed a reality check and to start again which is what is happening now, no amount of money and “stars” will bring back the glory days. They used to steal all of the best players from their competitors now they’re not even a big draw anymore to do that. Major reset is needed, find a style of play under a great manager and go again. This could take decades it’s happened to other teams, Chelsea until recent times, Liverpool before Klopp, Aston Villa before Emery. @@SW-fn7cl I feel like firing Ten Hag will bring united back to square zero. United has many problems, look at the coaches that have come and gone since fergie left they mostly did well in their first season and subsequently got fired in their second season after poor results. You hear some people say united should hire Zidane, Zidane is not coming to united. United approached Zidane after ole was sacked if I remember correctly. zidane declined sighting barrier in communication because he isn't the best English speaker. He was wise using that as a avenue to turn united down. United has many troubles even Zidane will probably get sacked if he was at united.

But they’ve learned you can’t keep moving the coaches in and out, there is no stability in that approach. The club needs stability they are bit challenging for anything at the minute. Get stable and then start challenging for stuff
@kipp007legend7 Жыл бұрын
"But they can't keep moving coach in and out" so because of that a manager who is incompetent should stay? They need to find one proper coach with no big ass ego and who can handle "stars" and stick with him.

As a Liverpool fan from other part of the world, I support him to be Ten Hag's special deputy. For me, if MU gets better, it's better for all 🏴 clubs to shine in Europe - in every competition. Based from the stats, the data, the trends, and the trajectory since 2020/21 - I can see 🏴 clubs are ruling Europe.

He’s spot on but also very diplomatic with his words he really wanted to say the job is way beyond his knowledge and how he’s dealing with things at Manchester Utd will never work , personally i can’t see any strategical pattern with how they play and that means playing the big teams they’ll struggle playing the smaller clubs they’ll also struggle due to lack of dictating games and also very poor signings I’ll pick three Mason Mount , Antony , André Onana all so average and not premier league players .

He’s right. ETH has adapted his method to get results instead of adapting the team to his style so that they eventually yield results and the pressure from fans have a big part to play with that. Every manager is hounded after a series of losses without allowing change to be implemented. There is no growth without pain.

The manager turned Eredivisie players into wannabe big stars.. That is one of many toxic problems. The manager choses the line-up, he signed many players and spent like £600M and yet the tactics and management is the worst in the EPL. Even worse than Southampton and Wolves.
