They get to see it first, better quality and are surrounded by fans _and the RT Crew_. It's still better for them. If the reason for the people to be there is just the exclusive content then they are there for the wrong reasons, they can always get leaked videos or talk to someone who was there. It might suck for the people that went there because they might not feel "special" anymore but it sucks a lot more of the fans that _can't_ go to RTX.

It's already been confirmed, no more Poser, it's Maya now. This isn't the first time they used Maya btw, before V4 they used Maya to model all of the characters, they only used Poser for the animation. I can't not see how the V4 clip looked like MMD to you.

I already knew that they would use maya for character creation and then integrate it into poser...but because they're obviously being lazy, I think its stupid that their just going to stick with maya....it just doesn't look right, plus they're going to lose more viewers.

so basically their answer for the criticisms over pyrrha's death is: - monty planned this (not an excuse) - he liked game of thrones (also not an excuse) - and character inspiration. (worst excuse)

khosef Tadros Monty planned this isn't an excuse it is just fact saying it was always there, it would be more disgraceful to change montys original plan than to save a character just because they are a fan favorite. I personally would much rather lose a character I love as long as the character stays true to their self than just a pawn by the writers. They obviously want the characters to feel like they've had real lives and real experiences and people tragically die earlier than felt needed in real life but that is life.

I'm pretty sure that's what pyrrha turned into in the finale. if it was "realistic" you'd think that she wouldn't be arrogant enough to shove jaune into the locker and sending him to possible danger. you know Vale where it's invaded by grimm. what if jaune got eaten by horde of grimm because pyrrha just wanted to kill herself.

khosef Tadros First of all, would you rather Jaune take his chances against Cinder or a Beowolf? I'm pretty sure he'd have an easier time with the beowolf. Second, just because you think killing off Pyrrha was a bad move doesn't mean it was. It actually partially fixed one of the main criticisms I have with RWBY... That JNPR were more of the main characters than the team the show is named after. Don't get me wrong! It's still a visible problem in RWBY's narrative. We know next to nothing about our main character except she has the potential to be very powerful, and she likes helping people. But at least now Ruby resembles a main character for once. Third, Pyrrha's death could be seen from a mile away. If you're pissed because you think the series didn't build up to it properly, you're wrong. We've known since V2 that she was a possible target, and we've also known since V1 she was based on Achilles, hence why her death resembles his own. Fourth, this gave depth to Jaune's relatively lackluster character. He now has a motivation to fight, and it's pushed his character into an interesting direction that I really, really hope RT takes advantage of. Jaune is angry now, and because of that anger he will be susceptible to manipulation. Divide talks about Salem wanting to Divide mankind, and we can tell that by Jaune's interactions with Qrow, in which Jaune blamed him for Pyrrha's death, that she may have succeeded. Overall, it was a good move on RT's part. Could it have been handled more gracefully? Absolutely, but I'm happy with the result.

LightAndDarkMdness02 first jaune wasn't planning on killing himself.... like at all. he didn't even think of going with her to fight cinder. second you said it yourself it's too damn predictable. I called pyrrha's death in volume one so by the time it happened it was really disappointing than anything else. and seriously? achilles? that's one of the worst excuses to be honest. and ruby is the main character? doesn't seem like it in volume 4. I don't think you need to kill a character to make the main character main. and jaune now has a motivation? so that implies that she's a tool. which to be honest I'm not surprised.

LightAndDarkMdness02 I'm just going to add this up if you like the result that's fine by me. also pyrrha did kill penny it could have been an interesting conflict between the two. penny could be terrified and/or angry at pyrrha because of what she's done to her. this wouldn't only develop pyrrha but also penny because she's starting to become human because she's experiencing a new personality. it would also develop ruby as well because she doesn't want her friends to turn on one another and it would effect her naivety and point of view on the world as Blake told her in volume one. she also held doubt over ozpin implying that his actions are "wrong". she could have had trust issues with Glynda and the group. this would develop jaune because his mentor and friend is now questioning everyone's point of view and has trust issues. now you can say "she agreed to the maiden powers" granted but that was when everything was going to shit and even when she agreed she was not happy. back to jaune and the beowolf: I'm pretty sure the possibility of finding a horde is bigger than finding one grimm. especially while jaune is panicking like shit. it's an invasion. an invasion ten times worse than the volume 2 invasion.
