zMAX!!! - Drag Week Day 3

The infamous 4 wide! Hot Rod magazine took us to ZMAX on Wednesday of Drag Week this year! I have wanted to even just visit this track for a long time, but on my first visit, I got to make passes in Badmaro, how cool!
After a fog delay, dad ran his fastest pass to date in the RetroNova!! I didn't fair quite so well, but we fixed the problem later that night as we re-built my valve body in the parking lot. Stay tuned to see a racing packed day and a late night!

Gday Alex from Straya, Congrats on your Dads 7 second pass looked like it hooked really nicely, so sad you didn't get a time on your first pass sure it would have been a mid 8, any estimates from you on what time you might have run??? I love watching you work on your car its the coolest, I am sure some fella will be the happiest person on earth to be your partner. Wonderful person, great attitude, and can fix and race cars, not to forget good looking just to top if off. Keep safe even if you hate hearing it, and I know you do :-)

Hey Alex you should talk Kyle from 1320 video into bringing his unicorn C5 out for next drag week even if it's just to exhibition race against you just to put on a show I know he wouldn't be able to do drag week by himself cuz he don't work on his own cars but he could tow it to atleast one track so he can put a show on for the fans

dave 2432 she's been doing drag week for 6-8 years now and every year she's been in the 8s she started racing right after she got her license and the Camaro was her first car her first drag week she was 16 and just got her license and she had a different engine combo I think it was a big block chevy and just like everyone else she has an LS now but hey she's still out there racing having fun and she pretty much daily drives that car atleast I know she used too go to 1320 video and look up early drag week videos and you'll see what I'm talking about it's when Jeff Lutz still had the black '57 Chevy Bel Air doing drag week

I may be wrong, but I think during Drag Week, you're just racing the clocks, not the actual other driver's. It's more about surviving the week and THEN the times are figured into it.

Hey Alex, could you please talk some about the engine of your badmaro ? Like how much power its got on regular fuel. I.e. what adjustments to your maro are needed everytime before you drag it ? Could you actually drag that maschine anytime anywhere ?
