I dont blame them for nerfing the armor and other abilities they were way too OP but what really hurts is the 2PP for 12 hrs...if anything it should be 1PP for 24 hrs or like 4 for an entire week

agreed, 2 powder for 12 h is really awkward, most people only do one map clear per day and usually within 3 hour to take advantage of boosted statue, and there are 7-8 hour wasted for having that engraving active just to clear map daily. I actually don't mind if they cut time off to 3-4h but cost 1 powder instead, that more flexible than it is right now.

It’s pretty stupid for someone to blame you for the nerf. Plenty of other KZbinrs as well as players had said that armor was too overpowered. I appreciate all you do. I can live with the nerfs. I think they need to rethink the 12 hour activation. That’s what I think most are not happy about that.

12 offensive statues boost for 3 hours is 12 powder. And you hesitate to boost the engraving for 2 boosts for 12 hours. Engraving is better than 2 boostet statues. So it is a better deal than boosting statues. The big problem is that they first make the engraving free for unlimmited time. From free to 2 powderfor 12 hours is a big nerv. But its still a very fair deal. Most ppl dont recognize that.

This update is a total joke. The engraver is completely useless now, and people are locked out of task forces forever, because people mistyped their age and Nuno has said there is zero chance that the age thing will be resent/made changeable, for zero good reason. I’m concerned what future updates will bring now. If they continue down this path, they may bring in more players but they’ll lose their legacy players, and as a result lose their community.

The balancing is alright, i can clearly see the argument for it. Realistically armor was busted. But come on with the pricing. The pricing and duration is absurd. Why would i spend 2 powder in the engraver when if i boost the the damage, and health masterpiece statues my player "power" is beyond noticeable.

The invincible troops did need to be fixed, but maybe instead of max 80% armor, bump it up to 90% and 1PP for 24 hrs

The main issue here is the lack of communication coming from Nuno and Boom Beach to explain all this. Both the contents of the update, but then to even acknowledge they made a mistake with the initial engraver stats. At this point, if every player that buys IT stops for a month or 2 collectively…pretty sure the team will listen to whatever feedback the players have. Either that or Tencent says that the game isn’t worth the upkeep anymore and shuts it down. Either way, we’ll have our answer…(and I’ve now been playing on and off for 10 years now)

Thanks for the video. here is some suggestions to Improve the Engraver System in my opinion. With the recent changes to the Engraver, i feel frustrated by the limited activation period of buffs. While the nerf to the buffs is understandable, the switch to a *12-hour timer* that costs *2 Power Powder* per activation is a step back. Previously, we paid once to activate a buff, which was simple and convenient. here are three potential solutions that could make the system more balanced and enjoyable for everyone: 1. *Seasonal Activation* - Make the Engraver reset at the start of each season. - Players would need to spend Power Powder to reactivate their desired buffs for the season. - This keeps the need for Power Powder consistent without the frustration of constant reactivation during a single season. 2. *Active Timer Only* - Change the 12-hour timer to only count down when players are actively in the game on the main island. - This aligns with how players are actually using the buffs, preventing the timer from ticking down while offline. - It makes the activation feel more worthwhile and prevents wasted Power Powder during downtime. 3. *Attack-Limited Buffs* - Replace the time-based activation with an *attack-based system* . - For example, players could pay Power Powder to gain *75 attacks* (or another fair number) with the chosen buff active. - This ensures that buffs are used fully and gives players control over how they utilize the activation.

My tf is in exactly the same position as yours (we are a couple down under yours)casual but good enough that FH is no real challenge.Armour gave us a chance to explore and have some fun with DX and was never going to challenge the top guys, in fact think there was only a couple in the tf that actually looked at our tf standing after each op. It’s sad we can’t do it anymore and 2 pp for 12hrs is ridiculous, I’m not pp strapped but won’t be using it.

The thing is: You have to spend a lot of powder BEFORE it is even worth spending powder for 12 hours. That is the frustrating part! I suggest it should be free to boost for some hours with a cooldown time.

I'm grateful about the updates. Keep in mind that we used to get only 1 per year. But, this update is the first bad update since the new dev team started working on the game. I understand the reason behind the change (especially since they announced that they will release defensive engravings in the future) but this is not a good change. Anyway, I hope they make further improvements. I already shared my feedback to official channels and I hope we can get some changes in the next update 👍

The devs can bring in as many new players as they want, and if that means cycling out their legacy players (which it most possibly could), the game may thrive financially but its community will wither. I’m very concerned that the new team has been employed to make the game appealing and disposable rather than complex and deep. This would make the game prosper in revenue, but its community will be completely eroded by the shittification of the game. I had high hopes for the game, but honestly now I’m just scared about what it’ll turn into.

What if for ops that had something similar to tribe boosts, like each week a different engraving is “boosted”, but only for operations. Say if a certain week it was leech, for this week leech would be boosted for free on all attacks in ops that week for free. Then the next week maybe it’s armour, then rally etc. this way people can try out new boosts and they could maybe justify making us pay for engravings since we get 1 engraving for free each week to attack in ops, but the boost wouldn’t apply to any attacks other than ops

I can tell you that I have played this game for a few years now and never has it been so screwed up as here of lately this nerfing as you call it is stupid I usually get the boom pass but because of all this year garbage that supercell is doing I'm no longer going to be doing that I will no longer put any money into this game because I worked my butt off getting what I have and it's like I'm being dumped on so I'm not going to contribute to their wallet anymore

They are working these to make everyone happy.. my thing is move all them down to 5 shards no matter how many your doing at same time.. they want you to use all them.. 2-3 of them is only ones we are using.. they want you to switch back and forth..

The only problem I have with the update is that they told us however maybe powders to turn whatever engraving on and it was permanent. This was the whole reason I even built it much less spent hundreds of all types of shards On my main account I can afford the powder, but my to mini's can't afford any powder to enable an engraving for 12 hours. I'll say as a player that returned not too long ago, I was rushing through hq levels to get to the engraver, especially to use the resource-balancing engraving which is not something I have heard anyone elss talking about. Now though I am not really looking forward to getting to hq27, since to me the engraving just feels too similar to statues. With the new 12 hour timer I would be better off just boosting some resource reward statues and overfilling some resources rather than leveling up and activating the alchemy engraving. I know some of the offense boosts were too strong but making engraving boosts temporary removed all the excitement for me of trying to get to the max hq since there isnt much besides engraver there and the mechanic no longer feels as unique.

Hi Zmot! The truth could not prove even an ability of the recorder, I was barely trying to understand how the bonus worked and the update arrived. What I did find the discord and some Facebook group a bit, is that it bothered a lot about the change of time to use the bonus, much more than the topic of the Nerf to the percentages, because the truth is that it was very broken, And you could see in the operations that the zucas did not receive harm from the rocket launches was an exaggeration.

Hi Zmot, I ran into a weird thing with RL’s in Deep Cut OP’s. I was the second attack and was scouting RL’s and one was level 13 , damage per second 63 +1 at armor level 70%. Same base another level 13 RL is DPS 63 +21. The only difference is frost RL had some health damage. Is this right or a bug?

Armor was pretty OP not gonna lie. Haven't even tried it after nerf though because 2 pp for 12 hours is disgusting and needs to be changed ASAP. Never even really tried out leech tho because I just stuck with Armor.

I would be happy to use 4 or 5pp to unlock an Engraving for a week and maybe have a choice to use 10pp to unlock all Engravings for a week but only able to use one at a time. 2pp for 12 hours is not something i would use.

No consistency with the offensive statues and engraver. IMO the engraver should be boosted for 1 power powder for 3 hours. And can use another or multiple power powders to extend the engraver boost similar to the statues. Who the hell plays boom for 12 hours other than Mega crab weekend. I can clear my map once a day easily within an hour so 2 power powders for a 12 hour boost is such a waste!
