Yeah, they problem with destroying just Marley is that almost every country, I guess except Hizuru, - almost everyone united against Paradis. So it wasn’t really an option to stop at Marley. Just like Marley fought back even after losing their ruler, other countries could easily gather around with new people in their governments too, and attack Paradis - just like they initially intended. 80% wipeout wasn’t just Erens intent, it was something the entire world set up for itself for all the hatred it caused. It was a fucked up world. Fucked up worlds require fucked up solutions.

Erwin and Levi said that they can't retrieve it because it was too risky which is why they went out themselves to find Ivan's body. They ended up luring titans instead and yeah, that's when the bodies were dropped. Ivan's body is still rotting in the woods. Rewatch the episode before sussing on people

Do you lack the capacity for moral thought? Edit: Let me make this doubly clear. There is no morally “correct” or “wrong” party in this anime. AoT is not a hero archetype story like Naruto and One Piece. If you sincerely think that either Eren or the Marleyans are in the right then you’ve missed the entire point of the narrative. And that’s honestly insulting to Isayama given that he’s spent over a decade of his life developing such complex themes in this masterpiece.

@@calibula95 Yes that's the point of the narrative in the complexed anime such as AoT. You should compare it to real life experiences, learn from it und understand it's themes, it has a lot of historical references. You're supposed to appreciate the moral ambiguity of the story and see the perspectives of both sides. Don't just blindly support on side without any deeper conisderation for the other. It's really like saying that you would enjoy killing brainwashed North Korean's because they think that all the westerners are evil. You're supposed to use your brain in this series and analyse the narrative with open mind.
