The fact that my best time ever is only 19 minutes slower than the world record and I can't do 80% of these strats is kind of cool, but at the same time that 19 minutes might as well be 100 hours as the amount of time and dedication necessary to get this good at this game is insane. Once the new route became the standard I kind of gave up. I've tried fighting Phantoon first and I'm just so awful at that boss that it's a run killer (even on the old route). Not to mention just getting to him first requires such an immense amount of precision that it's nearly impossible for your average player and something I've only been able to do once or twice.
@robbelmont52263 жыл бұрын
@Shadowforce10 It's been years at this point, but forever the fastest route was basically fighting the bosses in their intended order, but then at some point the route Zoasty does in this video became the gold standard. I love this game and it is probably my favorite of all time and I've beaten in the 100s of times, but the difference between a champion and someone who is just "good" at this game is a staggering amount of dedication and hard work. I tip my hat to Zoasty and others because I am genuinely in awe even to this day having watched probably a hundred different speed runs.
