One big detail on this video: it points out the importance of assembly line usage. I now know not to separate any parts from the plastic treestill the time to work on a kit when painting is needed. I now appreciate more than ever the well done mahogany (1/144?) AN-225 with the Russian Space Shuttle affixed to the top of the AN-225 that I purchased years back. I was surprised the nose of the Revell kit does not swing up after the effort you put into painting the interior. Great work on your effort. Thank you for this video on Revell's AN-225 kit.

Saw that airplane at the Paine Field airshow in 1991, right after the fall of the Soviet Union! The airplane was still painted with the Soviet livery, all white with thin red stripes down the fuselage and the engine cowls! I had to take two pictures of it because I couldn’t back away far enough to get it in one frame! That airplane is BIG!

I have a question. On the Antonov An-255 Decals for the blue and white stripes on the nose of the plane. Did you have ro cut it in 4 places like it said in the instructions or did you just put it on?

Sehr gut gemachter Baubericht. 👏👏 Du scheinst ein Händchen für Airliner zu haben. Schade, das man vom Rumpfinneren nichts mehr sieht. 😥 Das einzige, was ich nicht so schön fand, das die Geschwindigkeit beim Bau zu hoch war. Manchmal kam zumindest mein Auge und meine Lesegeschwindigkeit nicht mit. Ein bisschen Langsamer und die Sache ist richtig rund. Und wenn das Video dann 2 oder 5 Minuten länger dauert, der den deine Arbeit und das Modell interessiert, der schaut es auch in der Länge an. Bin auf dein nächstes Modell gespannt. Gruß. I wondered how Antonov's top crew cabins could be soo narrow compared to the incredible width of the main cargo deck. now while watching this video at 01:40 , I get it. the plane has an "egg like" cross section. bottom part is wider, and top part is a bit narrow. But when your see the plane in real, you cannot understand this easily.
