Thanks! I agree completely, Zodiac are producing some very cool watches right now. It's all heavily based on re-issues, but I don't think that is a bad thing because they are making pieces that really stand out in today's market. Cheers!

This is a quality watch. I would love to get my hands on one. I have an original in good working order. It is a little hard to read as the lume which was a prominent feature of the "hands" has faded and gets a little lost on the brown tiger-eye of the dial. Would this be of a comparable sweeping smoothness to the "SST" effect of the earlier models? Its still a really nice looking movement!

Hi Greg! Great that you have a tiger eye dialed original! Such a cool piece! The original had the SST (Split Second Timing) movement which was considered a high beat movement in that it beats 36000 beats per hour or 10 beats per second. The modern re-edition featured in the video still has a great movement, but it beats at the more common 28800 beats per hour or 8 per second. So it won't be quite as smooth, but hardly noticeable because it's still a small dot floating on the outer edge of a transparent disc. It still appears to be magically floating. Cheers!

Very cool! The round ones remind me very much of the Rado Diastars in their shape. These are awesome, really retro, and not on very many folks' wrists. Do you have one of the new re-releases or a vintage? Cheers!

@@Hellforsa That's great! It's a really under appreciated watch. When it came out originally in 1969 it was meant to be super futuristic and epitomize the Space Age, but it made only mediocre sales so there aren't a huge number of them out there. The mystery dial in a sporty package is what makes it for me. Cheers!
