I made a zoe go 0/7/1 in lane one game. I stayed mid, pushed up my lane, basically 1 shot zoe if she came to lane (I was syndra), and was waiting for drag to come up. Apparently, when I backed zoe ditched her wave; roamed bot; killed my adc, support, and jg; and came back to lane with an extra ~1000ish gold (I think 1 was a shutdown). Turns out the 0/7 zoe who couldn't farm the whole game could still 100-0 my adc and support with only ludens 20mins in.

1. This game happened in Normal 2. This player has only played Zoe ONCE in their League career 3. This Zoe is Silver 4. I began searching up some people Rav makes those videos about, and I feel weird watching a video focusing on people in *normals* who try a new champ and do bad at it. If this series was about people having either some experience on a champ and yet being bad at them (classic M7 Yasuo) or at least people playing in ranked, I'd be more inclined to watch the series. Knowing that I might first try a new champ in a normal game and do bad at it, and then have a video made about me about how bad I am as a player, it would kinda suck xd

Zoe is an incredibly situational pick for sieging power, that requires good, coordinated vision control from your teammates to be strong and make picks, which is what sets her apart from champs like Ziggs or Xerath: She's a pick champion that punishes inferior vision play, whereas the other two are more teamfight-oriented, despite all being artillery mages. Unlike Xerath or Ziggs, she also has no reliable self-peel that lets her deal her damage if she gets surprised by an assassin. She's also more of a roaming champion herself because of how her E works. But note that as a mid laner, you only have a small bit of control over your team's vision. For this reason, she's garbage in soloQ. She's more a pro play pick. And Lux and Zoe aren't really the same at all.
