Mix some castor oil/wheat germ oil (both unrefined, if possible) via a 1 to 1 ratio (same amount each). Both are extremely fortified with protein. Apply to scalp/hair after every shampooing and daily as needed. The protein will thicken your hair... Allow 2-3 months BUT you will see results within 4-5 weeks, depending on your hair type, etc. Continue use 'til you die (LOL)! Additionally, add more protein to your diet. Look on the web for protein enriched foods. Hope this helps! NOTE: Also, stop washing your hair so often. Almost all shampoos have sodium lauryl/laureth sulfate as a 2nd ingredient, behind water/aqa, which equates to...THERE'S ALOT IN THERE. These chemicals over time can do more damage than good. Wash your hair every 8-14 days. Drink plenty of water and no stress. Be sure to shake the oils before application, as unrefined wheat germ has an abundance of waxes/phospholipids, which will separate. You can also buy a messager for your scalp to get the blood flowing in those areas. This is help your blood circulate, which will help your tresses. If you have any questions, contact me.
@GabrielGabriel1015 жыл бұрын
KimMe Wyatt you’re so kind!! Thank you for your advise. I will most definitely try to get the oils but I’m not sure if I could afford to wash my hair every 8-14 days due to my extreme greasy-looking hair if I don’t wash it often, but it’s mostly because of my condition called psoriasis which causes dry scalps over certain areas of the body (in my case, my scalp) which are very itchy and one of the ways to reduce the itch is by washing it so I can’t stand not wash my hair often. Also, is the oil supposed to be applied during the shower or after the hair is dry? And wouldn’t the scalp get greasy if the oil is applied after? Thank you for taking the time to reply and advise me, I really appreciate it.
@KimMeWyatt5 жыл бұрын
@@GabrielGabriel101 If you don't want to put the the oils on your hair itself (which truly is optional), focus on your scalp only. Additionally, I'm very familiar with psoriasis and want to tell you, most times, this condition is inflammed 'because' of the chemicals (sodium lauryl/laureth sulfate) in the shampoo; especially when you wash your hair often. If you're going to wash your hair often, opt for a sulfate free shampoo and they're easier to find now with more people wanting more natural alternatives. Even still, I would try to go as long as possible without washing and here's why. Some of the properties of castor oil are: ricinoleic acid (prevents harmful microbe growth which makes up 90% of the oil and it's the only oil with this property; inflammation, hair loss, growth, protein (great to thicken hair), cleansing, polarizing, fungas, antibacterial, folliculitus, balances hair pH, hydrozy acid, etc. Wheat Germ oil: thickness, conditions, antioxidants, L-cysteine (protein), growth, prevents scalp diseases, circulation, vitamin b1,2,3,6, etc. These 2 oils together, including properties I didn't mention are excellent for your condition BUT now that I have more info on you, please add some Tea Tree oil to the blend BUT keep in mind, TTO is an essential oil, which means a little goes a long way, so a couple of drops will do, depending on if you're making a one-time use amount or setting up shop (LOL) for future use as well. If you're doing a little @ a X, such as tablespoons of oil, add 2 or 3 drops. TTO helps with and is: antifungal, antimicrobial, antiinflammation, dandruff, itchy scalp, eczema, seborrhic dermatitis, antiseptic, clears follicles, allows scalp to breath, etc. To answer your questions: Because these oils are natural, you can apply as you wish...dry/wet scalp/hair...whatever. ...Even multiple times a day to help heal your condition. If you have others questions, let me know and glad I could help.
@GabrielGabriel1015 жыл бұрын
KimMe Wyatt omg thank you so much!! I will try to wash my hair less often then, and if I have any more questions I’ll make sure to let you know. What helped me a lot: 1. Don't dye your hair 2. Use Henna. It fills in gaps, makes the hair stronger. 3. Avoid sun, hot water and hair dryers (edit: my latest research says that wet hair is much.more vulnerable, it should be dryed to close the structure in a specific way. From head to lengths.) 4. Brush it cautiously, don't pull, hold with your hands when brushing the lengths. Don't brush through knots, use your hands 5. Don't use products with perfume, only little silikon, parabens, sulfates 6. Wash it carefully - don't rub, use less shampoo, wash only every 3rd day 7. Don't let anything pull or rub it like tight bobbles, hair bands, no towel turban after washing 8. Change the position of the part 9. Leave your hair alone for some time. Wear them plaited at home and at night then the booble will not push. 10. Don't tight them up at night as well. 11. Don't go through your hair with your fingers all the time. 12. Have a healthy diet. Good luck everyone!

Hello I'm thinking about using henna? Is it really going to help And what can I add to the henna so it doesn't dries out my hair
@mikat5927 Жыл бұрын
@_AntaraChowdhury I can only say that chemical colours were very damaging and Henna gave it more volume and stopped flying hair etc. Check which Shampoo your using and which is not helpful for a Henna treatment. At the same time, I did all of the above, so I guess it's a mix of things. Also, every hair is different, so I wouldn't generalize. I use hair milk after each wash, it's like a conditioner you put into towel- dry hair. I did more research on hair drying and my laresr resulsts are, that dry hair is much more vulnerable and it should be dryed to close the structure - direction head to the lengths. There are videos on YT.

I also suffered from thin hair over the years and it affected my confidence too, friends would literally tell me everyday how thin my hair is and they talk about it like it’s something normal, until I found a dermatologist near me that I didn’t know about, so I made a consultation and I got 3 sessions of prp hair injections, they basically take the prp from your blood and inject it into your scalp, yes it’s expensive and it does hurt so much but it’s worth it, it’s only been 6 months since my first session and my hair got better by 80%. I’m very thankful and grateful that I did it because I gained my confidence back. And I’m putting it out here in the world to help anyone who is interested in doing it!!

okay im going to try and help you.. I was going through this as well, not as bad as yours but if I didn't act fast, it would have gotten worse. Firstly I got a blood test and they found some minor thyroid issues so that somewhat explained why I was losing hair. So here are things I have been doing to reverse my hair loss 1) Check for thyroid issues 2) Make a diy exfoliating scrub (lemon juice + sugar) and exfoliate your scalp at least once every 2 weeks. Sometimes hair loss is due to the hair follicles being clogged and exfoliating is soooo helpful 3) STOP using shampoos/conditioners/any other hair products with sulfates. It is so incredibly harmful 4) Do an overnight oil treatment EVERY week (once a week) . I usually make mine with coconut oil/olive oil, tea tree/ peppermint essential oil and rosemary essential oil and wash it off with a sulfate free shampoo & conditioner 5) Do a rice water or vinegar rinse after every wash 6) DO NOT wash your hair everyday. Instead try to go atleast 4-6 days before every wash 7) Invest in a satin pillowcase/ bonnet so your hair doesnt break off at night 8) VERY IMPORTANT: Get one of those spider like head massager thingies and give yourself a nice scalp massage EVERYDAY.. This step has made a huge difference in my hair growth. So these are the things I've been doing that slowly but surely have made a world of a difference. I hope it will help you too. Good luck! and have faith that miracles are possible

I used to bleach my hair and wear extensions and though I didn't have thinning hair at the roots, my hair was so thin at the bottom and damaged. I literally stopped bleaching it, stopped wearing hair extensions, stopped straightening it/ using any heat on it, and I started going as long as I could bear without washing it and just letting the natural oils soak in (i know it sounds gross but it pays off) and I swear to you my hair has not stopped growing since. My hair now is so thick and grows so much and is so healthy that it wont even hold a curl or wont hold a tease. And it didnt take long either. My hair gets down past my belly button and even when I cut it back to my mid-chest area, it will be down past my boobs within a few months. I only bleach the ends of it now a little just so it can hold a curl for me. I also agree with the scalp massage soooo much for hair growth. I'm so sorry for anyone going through this. I hope you find something that works for you.

i've actually never been so happy to find out someone is going through the same thing as me🥺🥺 update if anyone even sees this lol: so my hair fell out at 13 from telogen effluvium caused by long covid, meaning my hair follicles were stuck in the 'telogen staged' making my hair thin and fall out, unfortunately while it is happening there is no stopping it, it caused me anxiety with going out because i thought everyone was staring at me it was honestly the worst thing ive gone through🙃 im now 16 turning 17 and my hair has grown soso much but small simple things still affect me such as going to the hairdressers meaning i have gone three times only since it fell out and one of those times was getting it cut extremely short because of the hair loss, and simply washing my hair and hair falling out causes me to panic.

Try rosemary. Guava leaf tea(just buy leafs and seep them in hot water for 15mims until juice is dark brown) or aloe vera it could be a fungus or your scalp is inflamed that's why hair is falling from the middle-out instead of patches.. I'm using rosemary and guava leaf together because I'm trying to grow mines thicker its starting to thin out where my edges are and my bfs mom used this and her hair grew back! She also has diabetes and hasnt been back to the doctor because guava leaf tea can also cure diabetes.. Hope this helps!! ❤❤

Not sure if you've already tried this simple trick...but to keep a little parting space with some natural scalp showing, place the end of a rat-tail comb on your part and then spray on top. When you lift the end of the comb, you'll have a nice thin natural looking part.

Try getting some Lilly of the dessert aloe Vera. I style my hair in it, and it helps it grow. Also, look up hair growth herbs and boil them in some good olive oil and let it sit in a clean glass jar for about 3 days in the fridge, then transfer it into a hair drop bottle and apply it to your scalp with massage at least twice a week. Braiding it in plats or 3 braids at night before bed helps a lot too. These are just a few tips. Also, there’s a vitamin called Ocean 3 healthy hormone vitamins by Garden of life with pink writing in a glass brown bottle. Those helped my hair grow too and my nails. Definitely healthy for females too of course. Also juicing carrots with apple and cucumber into a juice will have your hair sooooo thick and long and your skin so nice 😍😍😍😍. These are just some tips. Hope it helps 😌

I noticed mine thinning and receding a bit around the same age. I've always had very fine hair too which wasn't a great start lol. As I got older I then had to take meds that increase the rate that hair sheds and then I was told I likely have androgenic alopecia because of my family history (I don't really have any memories of my dad with much hair). My hair is allover pretty thin now and my scalp shows a lot (I also have really dark hair and fair skin which makes it more noticeable), particularly with where my hair parts. I try to cover it as best as I can but I have also taken to wearing hats more now I'm in my thirties. There are a lot of better options for men in terms of meds, and topical treatments and theres also things like microblading for more long lasting camouflage.

I'm so sorry to hear that. Just make sure that if it's PCOS that you're taking your treatment. It's very important to keep the treatment going. And don't let it define you. Don't give it that power. Yes, you're balding, so? Now a days we can cover it up or just not care and show people that it's not a big deal (although it's a big deal to us) and it's not important to who you are as a person. I'm still working on my confidence. I'm still working on getting used to it. But it's gotten so much easier when you just learn to live with it. I was tired of trying to cover it up all the time. TIRED. And I spent my money on all that WOW Powder to feel good about myself, but I got tired. I didn't want to do it anymore. I still do it, don't get me wrong, but maybe five times in an entire year. It will get better.

There is, don't colour your hair often, don't use heat on it. Don't use hair extensions, don't use wigs. They all promote hairfall. Don't straighten it. Eat more protein. Use saponin nuts to wash your hair. Also, I think cut your hair short, because the weight of the bottom of the hair dragged my hair down and I had lesser hairfall when the weight was lesser.

Hello maryam! So I donate my hair so I know some help hair tips for thicker hair! So my favorite hair growth oil is castor oil I just started using it but I love it! Castor I think is fairly cheap. I have bottle from Walmart and it works perfectly fine and I have a slightly fancier one from Tjmaxx. Both are very affordable. I heard CVS has the fancier castor oil (I think the proper name is Jamaican black castor oil,but I could be wrong.). So you do need to give this oil time for results. It won't work over night. I think I have been doing castor oil hair mask twice a week for little over two weeks. And my hair is slightly thicker with more volume. Oh and is much healthier. If you would like I would be happy making a video explaining this oil more. I forgot to say you can also add some castor oil to your shampoo. I haven't tried that yet,but I really want to.

@sandramorales66475 жыл бұрын
Even if you buy 1 single box of pantogar (taking 2 tablets per day) will make a difference. But I have been researching and I have been thinking that, for women, another cause might be dermatitis follicularis. If you have dandruff that always come back, very oily scalp and malassezzia follicularis in your face, chest or back., chances are you have been loosing your hair because of that yeast overgrowth (which cause a very oily scalp and eventually loss of hair). I think that is what was happening to me, and the solution is very cheap. Just buy a 2% ketokonazol and use it 2-3 times per week (leave it for 20 min) until you see the other symptoms dissapear, then use it just once a week.

I struggle with the same thing (not as bad) but what helped me was a hair mask. - 2 Eggs - 2 Table spoons Caster Oil - 2 Table spoons Olive Oil - 1 Table spoon Honey It thickened my hair, grew it out , made it longer very fast, & grew new hair. It definitely minimized the width of my part, which is also in the middle. Leave on the hair mask for 2 hours (covered with Saran Wrap & a head wrap). Do it every 4-5 days.

Zoe Cavey you will feel your hair strengthening within the first 2 times you do this (so the first week & a half). The hair growth occurs after. Jayme Donovan yes you take a shower right after. & the way I do it is I brush my hair & section it BEFORE applying the mask, & after I apply it I brush through each section with a small comb. That way it distributes evenly. Then I put each section in a twist or braid & wrap it .

My hair was very thick and beautiful. It’s thinned in the past two years mostly because of the emotional and physical issues I’ve gone through. I would scratch my hair so my because of my anxiety and pull it. Slowly it started to thin out. This video helped me a lot, and I found comfort in the comments.

me too, i used to have extremely thick hair. but i began stressing at my job, i stress so much at my fast food job that my ears start ringing and my vision isn’t as sharp. i also picked up a nicotine addiction and an eating disorder and lost 20 pounds. i was in a relationship with a man who stressed me out and emotionally hurt me so bad that i burned my hand at work. i was crying all the time and playing with my hair for hours. then i wasn’t washing my hair properly which must have stressed my scalp out and more hair fell out. i was on a vegan diet for 3 years and didn’t make sure i was always getting my nutrients. so i was lacking a lot and it wasn’t safe. i ditched the diet finally and my skin and body have recovered. now my hair is pretty thin, it looks normal but i want it to grow back again. i stopped smoking and work less hours at my job. i’m looking for different work. i’m still in that relationship but he changed. it was horrible to go through, but at least he is not stressing me to death. i hope my hair will recover.

My hair was thinning years ago, and yes I could see my scalp. I started taking Silica, or known as Horsetail. Get it at any nutrition store. My hair started coming back in, and got thicker. All of the thinnest went away. By itself works, but u should also take a hair skin and nails vitamin. Make sure to also consume protein, like a protein drink if u dont eat meat. This has, and is working for me.

I had something stressful, like life altering stressful, happen about five years ago. Within 24 hours my thick, wavy hair was falling out by the handful. It got horrifyingly thin on my temples and right around my widow’s peak. This only added to my stress, which compounded the problem. Men can be fat and bald and society is accepting of that, but those same men will be cruel to a woman regarding the same things.

Trisha Rolewicz - OMG I’m so sorry. It was a horrible time for me, I’m so sorry you’re going through this. Please know that it DOES get better. I bought Redken Intraforce shampoo/conditioner/treatment. They d/c it but replaced it with Cerafill. I used that and I started seeing regrowth within a couple of weeks. Until I had new growth to cover my scalp I bought dry shampoo that was the color of my hair and used that lightly to fill in. At the time I felt like everyone could see exactly what I was doing but they couldn’t. One of my best friends and I were talking about it (once it had regrown enough to no longer be a problem) and she was surprised and said she’d never realized. Be calm, take care of yourself and give you a break. Churchill said, “If you’re going through Hell, keep going.” Good advice.

So sorry you are going through this. Hair loss can have a devastating effect on women, and l'd like to thank you for being so open about such a taboo subject, especially since you are so young. My mother is in her late sixties and for several years has been losing hair on the top of her head. She is now completely bald on top. She sprays some Batiste brunette dry shampoo on her fringe (bangs) and ties up the rest in a bun. She then gets an inexpensive drugstore scrunchie topper and slots it on over her bun and you'd never know she was losing her hair. This styling can sometimes be difficult because she often has to fiddle around to make sure all the bald has been covered. She refuses to leave the house until she has done this and is currently saving up to buy a natural looking wig for the days when she doesn't feel like doing her hair. My hair has been thinning slightly on top too over the past few years, and I've been using the brown dry shampoo to hide it as well. The only downside is that it makes the hair dry and lacking in shine so I may have to try something else. It is estimated that around 50% of females will experience hair loss at some point and I think that sharing tips, supporting one another and giving advice is the way forward. So good luck and best wishes to everyone who is dealing with this!

I want to thank you for this video bc I don’t feel so alone in this anymore. Why does a woman lose her hair The first is menopause. Most women lose their hair near menopause The second is genetic, and such women can also be treated to help with hair loss Third, various internal and external factors, such as chemotherapy, surgery and rapid weight loss, as well as drastic mood changes, may affect the hair growth cycle, leading to hair loss

Boil some water add rosemary let it cool put everything in a spray bottle. Spray your hair at the roots wait 30mins to an hour rinse repeat every 3 days. Hair comes back. Indian clay masks are amazing too and effective. Can be used before the rosemary method, u put in on your hair, leave it or for 30mins and rinse it (use wooden tools or a dyeing brush but never a silver or inox tool when using clay otherwise there is a reaction that cancel the product effectiveness). Clay mask is great as it will remove sebum and residues and open pores so the rosemary can penetrate your scalp and get to work!

Yes, the L'Oreal root cover spray works the same way, but you may already have found that out. The can is smaller than the one you're using in the video though. If you're still having hair thinning problems, it's worth getting your vitamin D level checked and also seeing a dermatologist. Biotin only promotes hair growth rate (i.e. it'll grow longer quicker). It doesn't grow new hair where there's loss or make hair thicker.

I have thinning hair and found that I wasn’t getting enough zinc in my diet. Something to consider. Since I’ve started taking a liquid zinc supplement daily I’ve noticed a real improvement in both the quality and new growth of my hair in just a few weeks. At the same time I also started using a “hair fertilizer” conditioner, and a couple drops of castor oil. I believe they have helped too, but I doubt my improvement has that much to do with my using these hair products. Significant thinning is usually due to what’s going on inside the body in my view.

I should add that I tried many other options over the course of a couple of years: organic hair products, hair products with caffeine, biotin supplements, even massaging my scalp and doing regular headstands. None of it seemed to make much of any difference, and in fact it was actually still slowly getting worse. But what I’ve indicated above has produced stark results for me, which I saw rather quickly. I only wish I had a “before” picture of my hair. It’s the difference between using hair fibers like toppik to cover the thinning areas and now no longer needing that at all. I don’t claim to know whether this would work for everybody, but it has absolutely made all the difference for me. Solved my problem.

deval dalal I started using onion recently. Actually its a red onion chopped up with some fenugreek seeds then left in a jar of olive oil. I give my scalp a good massage with the oil once or twice a week. I’ve noticed already I don’t have a ton of hair falling out when I shampoo or brush my hair! Also my hair has already grown about 1/2 inch in just a month. Not sure if its growing back the hair I lost but its definitely helping out the hair I have left :)

I have pcos so I have a lot of hair thinning and I could actually see the difference (how I'm actually losing a lot of hair in the front) . It really sucks and I'm really insecure about this .Thank you for sharing all this with us . You're really brave and beautiful

I have it too. It's horrible on your hair and body.

hey i just wanted to ask if the hair loss is permanent esp on the front? or does it grow back?

@@ramisa6095 you know I'm trying some home remedies right now( castor oil+coconut oil) and I'm seeing baby hairs. It's not a big change since I've been doing this for less than a month. But I'm optimistic now. After soooooo many shampoos and hair treatments.

@@ramisa6095 i got this from another youtuber (self care secrets) but is in regional language mostly. So I'll summarise.(go check her out if you want) So I take like one tsp of coconut oil and one two of castor oil and double boil it to mix well. Then I massage it into my scalp. Leave it for around 1-1.5 hr and then wash your hair/bath(use any ok shampoo). I do this like 3 times a week.
