Now THIS place beats ALL scenic locations in the Philippines. That I know of, only three other foreign vloggers have vlogged their visit to Batanes - The Juicy Vlog, Mike & Nelly, and that Iceland guy w/ his Filipina girlfriend who have a place in Dauin, Negros Oriental. ... Oh, and Kyle "Kulas" Jennerman, of "Becoming Filipino." (He became a Filipino, btw, by gaining Filipino citizenship, a year ago, I think.)

Batanes is overrated. Scenic landscapes only. Expensive tickets. Ordinary accomodation. No good restaurants. No good beach. No waterfalls. Nothing to do but take pictures and video and hiking. Poor weather.

Thank You,for visiting an Island i call home,Alapad Rock Formation,the rock you were pointing,it has a blowhole we used to collect sundried seawater(mopped with clothes)then it was cooked in the cove down below,firewood was dropped on that kilometer(KM24).The side road below Blow Ur Horn,that used to be where rainwater runs thru,being young and scared of stong wind i crawl thru instead of walking.The backdrop looking towards the east where the cove is where i grew-up called Imnajbu.

That lagoon is stunning! My colleagues who are from Batanes say Batanes is a crime free place of all the Philippines, not sure though if that still is the case today. Also, they say it is the only place in the Phil where you can experience the four seasons. Batanes is truly breathtaking. ❤
