Absolutely love meat dumplings and would definitely feast on them.Does not look like rice cakes to me. Hands down I would’ve waited in this mild line for doughnuts. Absolutely nothing wrong with waiting in line for something so yummy like doughnuts. Absolutely Loved Every Minute // Outstanding From Start To Finish

One thing I learned experiencing Korean food is to not be deceived by the image and smell. I have gotten to eat few dishes that gave me the most awkward smells but became irresistible. Grew on me gradually and now Korean food is bar none the best food I have ever had. I love Indian, Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Indonesian, Italian, Mexican and so on but man Korean food really opened my eyes with their unique ingredients. I've realized how western food diet is far behind compared to Korean. Koreans definitely know what and how to eat food both enriching taste and healthiness. Their fermentation skill is top level. It really is amazing how a nation of colonial struggles, war that torn up the whole country and military authoritarian regime in just few decades have become one of the super powers in world. As someone from US, I thoroughly and shamingly realized many many aspects that are so much worth absorbing. South Korea is well known as collectivist society deeply rooted in Confucianism. They do not really put themselves individually over anything. Social morality is higher than most. Oh yea and Koreans hate unfairness and unkindness. You will see almost everyone bow their heads to elders often. Age is a big thing there. Hope you have great time in Korea!

I am Korean, and my wife is American. We've been to Japan and Korea, but she prefers Korean food over Japanese. She described Japanese food as boring compared to Korean food. She says Korean food just has more flavors and punches, and it dances around in your mouth. 😄

I am planning my holiday this october dont know if tokyo or seoul whatdo you guys preffer and by the way beautiful video
@ZoeCzar8 ай бұрын
Oooo amazing 🤩 both are great but I’d say Tokyo is easier to get navigate & know exactly what your buying in terms of food etc as they often have English menus or great pictures of everything, there’s also more to do in terms of activities! Seoul has lots of great shopping (probably the best shops out of every country we’ve been too), trendy streets, some really beautiful traditional history & buildings & cool street food but is harder to navigate you’ll need to download different apps for maps etc 😊 either one you pick you’ll have a great time 🙏🏼

@ZoeCzar Mangwon market near Hondae...for knife cut noodles you can go to namdaemun market..they have a whole alley dedicated for it But really every area of Seoul has a market..as long as it's not touristy you should be good

Hi I’m korean. I recommend some foods. Koreans put ssam in one bite when they wrap it. Make sure to try it next time! -순살 찜닭&볶음밥(Braised boneless chicken with soy sauce base seasoning& fried rice) -치즈 닭갈비&우동사리&볶음밥(Spicy Stir-fried Chicken and Cheese& Udon noodles& fried rice) -감자탕&볶음밥(Pork Back-bone Stew& fried rice) -김치찌개&제육볶음&밥(Kimchi stew& stir-fried spicy pork&rice) -bbq chicken 황금올리브 (bbq golden olive chicken) -돼지갈비구이&밥(Grilled pork marinated ribs&rice) -삼겹살&구운마늘&구운김치&김치찌개&계란찜(grilled pork belly& grilled garlic&grilled kimchi& Kimchi stew&Steamed eggs) -묵은지돼지김치찜&밥(Braised Aged Kimchi and Pork&rice) -돌솥비빔밥(Hot Stone Pot Bibimbap) Bibimbap is a dish where you put gochujang as a sauce and mix all the ingredients with a spoon and eat it with a spoon. The food is put in a hot stone pot and there is Nurungji underneath, which is very delicious. Be careful because it is hot! -김치전&해물파전&막걸리(Kimchi pancake, seafood pancake, makgeolli) I hope you have a great trip and make a lot of happy memories in Korea.
