I too have been not in the best mental state lately. I've found journaling has really helped me. I generally keep the front of my journal for positive things. Quotes, lists, what I'm grateful for and the back of the journal I keep for brain dumps. I can get out all the negative and hurtful things I say internally. I can also vent about anything stressful. Its been helping keeping the negative and positive things separate.

I'm obsessed with fake tanning, my top tip is to exfoliate with exfoliating gloves and an exfoliater (I use the St Moriz Exfoliating Skin Primer) just to make sure your skin is as soft as it can be before tanning. I would also say tan your dry areas last (knees, elbows, feet) and if they're quite dry then you can always put a bit of lotion in with your tan for those areas.

I'm also working from home right now (because of COVID) and participating in the Reading Rush (and daily vlogging), and it's such a struggle! I wish I could read more and vlog more, but working 9-5 at home makes it much more difficult and it seems. I have a lot of respect for people who work from home full time because it's definitely been an adjustment for me!

The back of the journal is out of sight and mind except when I need it. I limit the time I spend there and that has helped me focus on better, and more positive things. Love me a good ol' Target haul 😊 and YES to the turmeric!! I've experienced a noticeable decrease in inflammation since adding it to my daily supplements. Just make sure you take it w/ some black pepper! It'll help with the absorption.

I think your issue with the good daughter might be that you’re listening to it instead of reading it with your eyes. I always find that kind of genre isn’t as good via audiobook. I loved it but I did think pretty girls was a bit better! Just a thought
