I find that I can go several months where DAC’s new releases don’t interest me! Then all of a sudden there’ll be a load that I grab! They have also updated their toolkit and won’t include tweezers, cover minders and Washi tape! They have also changed the stickers as well!

Great Haul! I started diamond painting this summer and I'm completely addicted. I also in the beginning purchased a lot and now have slowed down a bit. I've found I hate working on huge canvases after working on beach comber's and I've found I despise 310's. I have a few in my stash that are big and have the dark colors and I don't want to work on them. So now that I've found what I like I've been only purchasing those types of kits. I've also been hit or miss with DAC, some weeks I have to buy and others I'm good. I didn't purchase 1 halloween release. I'm happy it's that way or I'd be broke with 1000 kits in my closet. LOL!!! Ivy Dolamore, MrsButterD, Chrissabug, Puffygator and Randal Spangler seem to be my sweet spot. Thanks for sharing! I think my favorite from your haul is Mermaid bedroom. I skipped that one and now it's out of stock, kicking myself as I wait for a restock.

Oh my gosh, all of this! I think I'm still okay with bigger kits (though sometimes I'll pause and do a smaller one if I'm getting bored), but I also can't stand 310s and darker colors. It feels like a chore to get through. I also have some bigger ones that are like that and I'm considering reselling them, so they can be loved by someone else! 💕 Thanks so much for this fun comment and for watching! It means so much!

I used to shop them a couple of years ago. It’s crazy to see how different the tool kits are now! Might need to stock up again even though I only complete 1 or 2 a year!

I started in March also and yes, I went crazy trying to find all the older kits I love. I have them all, I have 5 on my wishlist and 5 I’m getting for BF. I’ve also haven’t seen anything I’ve wanted in the last few months, I’m just waiting for restocks.

I agree with you on the DAC subject. I am underwhelmed with most of their art these days and even last year. I do think that they are leaning towards a limited art subject pool. I purchased from them during black friday, but only a couple. Gave the rest of my money to another company with a better variety

Similiar taste! I had MOST the same DAC canvases. My favorite was Away From It All..because I have it completed. ;) The only one I didn't have was the knitting one. If it was a crochet canvas I would have it. :)

ah I totally understand the struggle!! This very question kept me from the hobby for SO long. I also don't have an interest in displaying them. I finally came to the realization that I don't need to do anything with them, and it was so freeing! I think it's important that we have hobbies that are not productive (ie, pressure to make something to keep or display). One kit can take me months to finish, and to me, all that time for self care is more than worth it! When I'm finished I roll it up gently and place it back in my closet for now. 🥰💕

I agree DAC is a great company but I am not impressed with the last 6 to 8 months of kits I waited for months for the black Friday sale and cyber Monday and did not buy a thing not one kit I got 3 from dreamer design they are on top on there game over there but DAC I will be buy one kit only because of point and the kit will be under 30 dollars

I started by keeping and sorting the drills, but eventually moved on to just throwing them away. I don't personally plan to use them for anything, but I know some do like to keep them in case they need or want them for future projects. Truly up to you! 💕

I told myself I am not allowed to buy a new kit until I finish my current one annnnnnnd my first from DAC is so big 😂 (The plague doctor one.) So basically I can’t get a new one until next summer probably at the rate I do them lol. edit: typed all that before you even whipped out the 1st one and I’m just like….. 👁️👄👁️ it’s HUGE but so so beautiful omg. (I’m a beginner obviously hehe)
