The thing I love most about your vlogs is that you have so much packed into them. You've found such a great balance between books and lifestyle and REAL stuff. My heart hurts when you struggle because you're such a kind, upbeat person and nobody deserves those feelings less, but I'm glad you share with us. It's part of processing it and nobody looks down on it. Sending love, always.

Hey Zoe, I so appreciate your real talks. I definitely feel all those feelings everytime I go clothes shopping. I'm short, plus size, & I have a big chest & sometimes even if something is my "size" it won't fit right over my chest. It's frustrating, humiliating, & I just want to feel comfortable & beautiful without breaking the bank, you know? Thank you for being real. 💜

I want to thank you for being so open and honest about your experience with shopping this weekend. I appreciate your vulnerability and I look up to you for it. Everything you shared is exactly how I feel when I go shopping. I am much bigger than anyone in my family and it’s hard to put it into words when trying to explain how emotional it is to walk into a store and feel so unwanted. Thank you SO much for sharing this! I needed it. I hope you know you aren’t alone in those feeling or thoughts. I’ve only been watching your videos for a short time, but I love them and I’m so glad I found them!

Girl you so have my heart, your story about the mall really hit me. I’m I’m Michigan and our mall doesn’t have much either. Have you ever checked out Ashley Stewart online? They have many classy work or semi formal items in plus sizes and for reasonable prices. I know that means ordering which isn’t always convenient but their clothes are a decent quality so I think it’s worth it. You’re such a beautiful kindred spirit, I know your struggle and want you to know youre not alone. Hugs

I really appreciate how open you are with your body struggles. I’m much larger than you but I can still relate to many of the things you talk about. I definitely understand the feeling of walking into a store and feeling like everyone is looking at me and thinking I don’t belong there. I hope these stores start to wake up! They’re turning down a lot of money. Annnnyway, I’m so interested in reading I’m Thinking of Ending Things after hearing you talk about it. Right now I’m reading 22 Britannia Road, a WWII historical fiction from several years ago. I’m enjoying it but not blown away yet.

Oof can super relate to the clothes shopping and body image stuff. Those feelings got brought up a lot in 2018 when I was trying to find dresses to wear in Las Vegas and it was hard comparing myself to my thin friends and having them ask why it was so hard for me to find clothes when it wasn’t hard for them. And I HATE online shopping bc it’s difficult to get sizing right since, like you mentioned, sizes vary so much from brand to brand. But you are beautiful (on the inside and outside) and feeling those types of emotions is valid and a constant process. While I understand these talks could be triggering for other people, I think it’s also important for you to feel okay to vent in a safe space like your own channel 💕 Sending you so much love and virtual hugs.

hi zoe, I haven't finished the video yet but I FEEL your pain when it comes to stores not carrying your size. your feelings are valid but please don't feel embarrassed that they dont carry your size, thats embarrassing for the companies! they're *popular* stores but they're the ones missing out on the profits of catering to the "plus sized" community which is often the average size!!! as someone who goes through waves of feeling insecure in my size I just wanted to give the advice to follow more plus sized fashion/lifestyle people on instagram or any social media! visually seeing more people that looked like me helped shift my mentality. I'd highly recommend @/katiesturino on instagram, she makes #/makemysize posts where she calls out companies to offer a wider size range & #/supersizethelook where she recreates celebrities outfits, highlighting that its not about who wore it better but that the clothes look great on any body type. 💗💗💗

I lived in Wausau, Wisconsin for about 6 years. If you haven't yet, you have to try Berres Brothers coffee. Their flavored coffee is so natural and does not taste artificial at all. They're based out of Watertown. I'm not sure where you're living in Wisconsin, but if you want some small town vibes, you should definitely go to Rib Mountain (no ribs but beautiful hike), Oconomowoc (cute small town with a cute small lake and a cute small beach), and Eagle River (big tourist area with beautiful vacation vibes).

Zoë... it broke my heart to see you crying about your experience with dress shopping. I go through the same feelings and feeling of being left out anytime I go shopping for clothes, like.... nothing was made to include me or my body type. It's stressful and it amps up my anxiety. And I hate it. But I can tell you this: YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL. Inside and out. You're sweet, kind and a good human, and that is all that matters. Don't compare yourself to weird manequin size clothes that honestly probably only look good on lifeless dolls anyways. YOU. ARE. BEAUTIFUL. Huge hugs to you!!! In regards to "I'm Thinking of Ending Things"..... It was indeed the weirdest book I ever read. BUT, the ending made so much more sense if you listen to it on audiobook. It's really good but weird, in a good way. When I got to the ending I was like "wait, what? what did just happen? really?!" I really liked it for the weird experience it was. Also, I totally recommend Foe also by Iain Reid. I think you'll like it.

Omg hugs!!! I had dealt with shopping for big girl sizes plus tall sizes since high school and I’ve gained more weight since then. It is such a horrible feeling when you go to the store and find things that you’re in love with and then they don’t fit. And half the clothes in our sizes are not flattering at all. All my friends in school were skinny and wanted to go to Rue 21 or fashion stores like that and unless it was a big XL or stretchy you could forget it. Now in a 2xl-3xl it’s even worse. When I find something that fits I feel like I hit the lottery because it’s that rare. Thank you for talking about it because not many people get it. I felt like I was the only one being “shunned” in stores. ❤️❤️❤️ If you ever need to talk here is a girl who 100% gets it and is right there with ya. Hugs.

Body image is a difficult thing, and I really get that, and I know opening up is hard but I for one really appreciate your talks on that since it helps me feel less alone. It's the whole reason I absolutely hate shopping, the few stores that carry plus sized items only carry things my grandmother would consider wearing. You start to feel like theres no point in trying.
