Oh M Ahhhh!!! So beautiful and luxurious! Look what learning to draft your own pattern creates. I watched an apron sew-a-long and there was a link to purchase the pattern. The price was $20 for a pdf. I noticed over 5,ooo downloads. What!?! This person created a pattern, loaded it to Etsy, and ...... over $100,000 later! Wow! So, just a little encouragement to learn patterning.

this was so satisfying to watch, and that coat is GORGEOUS!!! my maternal grandmother was a seamstress. she used to sew lovely clothing for the whole family (including my favorite doll). she taught all three of her kids (and me, the oldest of the grandkids) to sew, and my uncle even worked as a professional tailor for a number of years thanks to her training. my sewing machine has been sitting covered up in the corner, but videos like these make me want to sew all the things! such lovely work, both of you. and so inspiring. thank you again for sharing it with the rest of us.

This was just amazing and fascinating! I loved watching Daniela's entire process, and the final coat was unbelievably awesome. I like that these techniques can be applied to any coat or lined garment. I also learned some great tips to apply even for the [hand]knitwear patterns I've designed in the past. Cheers to both of you for sharing your expertise and craftsmanship in bringing this design idea into a finished garment!

You are so good, I love watching your sew! I tried a welt pocket with a Vogue pattern in my early 20s and it pushed me over the edge. I stopped completely and put the coat away for YEARS before I had a half away revaluation and realized how the flipping part worked. Haha

Hi Zoe, I’m 16 and just yesterday found your channel. I’ve only watched about 10 videos of yours yet I already feel inspired. I’ve been dreaming about being a fashion designer since I first learned to scribble, but sometimes I still get beaten up for not being able to draw a “perfect” croqui, or a perfect anything. Well, I’m a perfectionist and I love and hate that. I can’t express how much your videos about perfectionism is stupid help me. Thank you so much for sharing your experience and techniques- I’m so grateful that I accidentally found this channel. I WILL keep practicing until the time of timeless. Please bless the world with more amazing videos! ❤️

O my Gosh, that looks AMAZINGGG. You´ve done a great job. I associate this coat with the typical coat, that Paul Poiret made in the 1910s, but also works in the 20s. Great, it gives me that amazing Art Deco vibe, and it´s cool to see, people create something special and individual, something that isn´t mainstream.

(I have not completed watching this video) I recently discovered your channel and am glad that I did... I was just watching some other videos of yours and there's so much information about the fashion industry on your channel...I'm very young , just 14, but I really think that fashion designing is the career I wanna peruse...people often say that being sure about your career at this age isn't even real like that is sorta true but if I have a deep down feeling in me that this is the career I look forward to then there's noone who can stop me. I sometimes doubt that getting serious at this age isn't worth it, but practically getting knowledge at an early age results in more knowledge by the time you grow up...your channel is soo motivational even tho I'm really young. There's so much on your channel that is yet to be learnt by me and I think you are a great person and teacher already... Thank you zoe for letting so many like me inspire and I hope these teachings help me one day!

pretty fascinating watching the whole process. Loved the putting in the pocket detail. I have a jacket I always wanted pockets in. I can't quite wrap my head around why you wouldn't put the separate sleeve parts in respective face and lining before sewing the lining in altogeth. ( but I do remember putting a new lining in a coat once and having a time of it.-the outer coat was good but the lining was worn out .I got it together, but can't quite remember how...over 35 years ago. I think a teal faux fur would have been super.( the brown didn't work for me) watched this again a year later...didn't change my first comments...but I am still fascinated by the process and your attention to detail...so much work
