I played pokemon go while in labor! I started pokemon go with a one year old. Strolling my baby while playing pokemon go was such a blessing. It gave me a goal and my son was able to go outside when I’d normally stay inside. We explored so many parks together playing pokemon go. My son is 9 now as we play pokemon go together now! You can do it!

The only parent tip I ever share. Zippers not buttons for PJs. Buttons in the middle of the night are a disaster. POGO parent tip: use a bike handle bar mount for your phone on the pram(baby stroller). That way you don't have to hold the phone.

Everyone will say sleep when the baby sleeps, which I tried to do but sometimes that's the only time you have to do anything. So I would say, don't ever feel guilty about dishes in the sink, laundry needing to be done, or taking a nap when you're able but being sure that you get some time for you even if it's just a few minutes. My daughter refused to nap when she still needed them, so i would get into the car and drive. I drove places that I liked to see, like the nearby horse farms,or by the lakes. She slept the whole drive, then when we got home, she would sleep until I opened a car door. So I would sleep in my seat, browse on my phone and I kept a book in the car. I just enjoyed the quiet time. And be sure to enjoy all of those precious moments, they grow so quickly.

if i have any first time mom tips, it would be to get a swing/rocker for the baby! it saved me a ton especially early on. i had one automatic swing that my baby would love to take naps in, and i had a movable rocker to move around the house while i was doing chores. also, time moves by so fast, so cherish every milestone. instead of looking forward to future ones, enjoy the now ones. that’s my tidbits, so so happy for you guys!! ❤️❤️

Huge congrats. My daughter is 6 and Pokémon go has been a fun experience with her starting at about two. The toddlers love seeing eggs hatch. You both are lovely people and will be great parents. At 6 bought my daughter a Pokémon handbook and she reads up about every Pokémon we catch.

Tandemaus is only available in excellent throw party play tasks, and even then it's a mixed bag task so it's so hard to grind candy for it, so annoying for a rare evo too

Congratulations on baby two-dots!!!❤ My strongest suggestion - buy a journal and try to write in it every day after the baby comes - even just one sentence, get in the habit. Those early years are wonderfully chaotic and having a journal will help you remember those special moments and milestones. I SO wish I had and it’s one of my biggest regrets. PoGo mom tips (mom of 4 here): I have a jogger/runner stroller with durable wheels that can go “off-roading” and a phone holder that can clamp onto the stroller handle. Tips: Every parent and child is different, don’t compare yourself to others. Rest when you can!!! If nursering, Boppy pillows are amazing! Enjoy your time when they are this small cuz they grow fast! 💜

a big thing I would say too is that post pardon is REALLY REAL! Make sure you have great support after having the baby. You will be going through so many emotions. Having the baby does help a bit as you see these adorable little bundles of joy as they sleep on you or you feel them nuzzle into you. IT is so sweet! The depression will pass tho. Find things that help to keep you happy.

First few months are always gonna be rough. The newborn stage is always difficult cause they eat every 2 hours. Try to get some sleep in between feedings. Have some soft music playing, sometimes that helps them relax as well.

For the requested Father to Father advice: Whatever you can do to make washing bottles and dishes easier get them lines up ahead of time. Make sure your washer and dryer are in decent shape they’ll be getting a workout. A blow dryer comes in handy for after bath time and helping dry baby booty after changing them and can help prevent rashes.

I’m actually currently out of town to visit one of my bffs who just had a baby 4 weeks ago (their third). And for the Tandemaus, I understand this was more for the announcement of your own family evolution, but you don't have to evolve the mice and hope. The 3 family has a greyed out evolution if you don't have one previously. You can therefore 100% predict which goes to the rare evolution before you evolve

Congratulations to you both!! I didn't have kids when I started playing PoGo, and now I'm a mom of two! I highly recommend wearing your baby in a carrier, like the ErgoBaby or similar, for Community Days, Raid Hours, etc, rather than pushing a pram. You'll be able to play hands-free and baby will often nap while you play. And you can both take turns wearing if baby gets too heavy.

I was pregnant with my second child while playing pogo (he turned 8 last december). All the local players saw me grow (i had an shirt with an hatching egg animation in my belly!) and saw him grow since he was born. We trolled everyone that we named him munchlax since he always slept when we attempted (or attented 😊) a raid. Now he plays pogo himself every now and then. This made some nice memories ❤

BabyTwoDots in the house!!! What a lucky child to have you as parents, I love this for y'all! My husband and I have been watching for years, and we are about to have a one year old next month! Get your rest,the first few months is hard adjusting to hormone drops and lack of sleep but you will get back to feeling normal eventually. If you ever experience PPD just know there is a huge community that loves you and being social helps! Best advice I can give as a 36yo mom of a 14 yo and a 1yo is just love them and enjoy them, the days are long but the years are short. Don't sweat the small stuff. We're so excited for you here in ol Indiana!!! 😊🎉❤

Congratulations to you both! I’m not a parent, just a proud uncle but my youngest niece is my sidekick and also a PoGo player. I can’t give much advice for parenting but, from my experience, they grow so quick so make all the memories, take the odd photo but don’t make the photo the main event. Also, just take time for yourself. As much as we love you, your family means more than we ever will. We want you back but not until you’re ready. I also respect and love the idea of keeping little one off the videos. Much easier to keep them out of the limelight than try to undo it later.

Congratulations to you both! What an exciting new adventure. :) One thing I will say, the third month-ish seems to be the magic mark for myself and most parents I know. It is around that time routines seem to be set and you start to not remember a time without the bubs. So, if the first weeks or couple of months seem to be super hard (and they will be at times) and you are sore and exhausted and your house is a mess and you feel like a failure and the bubs is screaming and you cannot figure out what is going on... it does get better. You will find a routine, you will figure your baby out and what makes them tik and life will be better and the exhausting times won't last forever. So, when things seem tough, give yourself some grace, you are going to the best you can and you are going to do great.

Congrats!!! I actually met my kids dad playing Pokémon go. Once you are feeling up to it, put that kid in a stroller (American) and get back out. I put mine in a running stroller and around 2 1/2 he decided he didn’t want to be in it anymore and run like mommy. Now at 7 he has a medal rack fun from doing 5ks. Makes it way easier to play with an outdoor kid. My advice is don’t lose yourself. Too many parents live only for their kids but if you never do what makes you happy, you’ll be more stressed and they’ll never get to know the real you. Keep playing and doing what makes you happy.

Two way zipper pajamas are legit amazing! So much better than buttons. Dads: if you can baby wear and tackle dishes or daily duties, that is a huge help. I know feeding is a hot topic for many, but I always recommend keeping baby formula in your house regardless of your plan because a screaming baby who won’t latch at 2 am when you’re a zombie is brutal. Having something on hand in case of emergencies can save you some stress. Congrats to you both! What a lucky little egg to have you as their parents ❤
