She honestly just has a phenomenal marketing team and publicist. Every time she has a scandal, her marketing team turns it into a rebrand and an opportunity for her to advance her career. For e.g, she was being heavily accused of race-fishing and leaning into racial aesthetics for artistic purposes so her marketing team had her return to her roots of musical theatre, where she can leave her previous musical identity behind and completely rebrand for the purpose of the film. She then gets involved in a home wrecking scandal, so her marketing team have her release music that is more ‘lyrically vulnerable’ and ‘real’ than her previous music, and then have her sit down for interviews where she talks in a sweet, almost little girl voice. This is all so people have a hard time associating her with home wrecking, or any scandal for that matter, because she appears so ‘sweet’ and ‘wholesome’. It’s all just really smart, well thought-out marketing. Edit: I want to clarity that I mean no ill-intent towards her! I don’t know her personally, and for all we know she’s nothing at all like how she’s depicted in the media. I’m just looking at it from a PR perspective and how you can turn bad press into good press with the right tactics. I’m not saying that any of those things she’s being accused of are true!

I don't know if she's ever gonna change. She's 30+ yo now, and while I'm a firm believer of change at any age, her handling of the homewrecking situation has been subpar. She is basically mocking, almost taunting us with a "what you gonna do?". No hint of remorse or guilt. That doesn't scream "girl on the path to maturity" imo. My analysis is that despite her advancing in age, she is still a little girl that is both insecure AND spoiled. She managed to get off scot free from her previous dramas thanks to 1. her talent (she is insanely talented, I'll give her that) and 2. her youth, like Zoe said. Unfortunately, the later is starting to wear off so she didn't manage to get off as unscathed this time. Personally, it was the last straw for me. I used to really like her, but cheating and homewrecking is something I abhor. I cannot condone and support someone who does that, eve if they appear to be one of my favourite artists. I haven't listened to any of her new songs (unless I was in a store and it was playing on the speakers). It's time for her to grow up and do some realy work on herself.

I NEVER liked her because she screams “spoiled show off” from the beginning. It’s a shame ppl get away with stuff because of skills and looks. Unpopular opinion… the “other woman” isn’t a home wrecker, your husband is. Edit: reasons for my opinion: * the other woman didn’t make lifelong vows to you - your spouse did * if your spouse respected you and your marriage, there wouldn’t even be another woman * there’s a high likelihood that the other woman isn’t aware that your spouse is married or that you even exist (because your spouse is probably lying to her too) Let’s start holding men / cheating spouses accountable instead of scapegoating the other woman/person

@@krysteltorelino791 I absolutely see it that way, my former best friend hooked up with my at the time boyfriend, so trust me, I know the importance of respecting other women. I wanted to shed light on the fact that often times society scapegoats the woman no matter what the situation is and men are typically seen as these helpless little lambs that couldn’t control themselves. If a woman cheats it’s all her fault, if a man cheats, it’s all the other woman’s fault… (usually this is how society sees it). But as I mentioned, there’s a chance the other woman isn’t aware that the husband is married because he’s lying to her about being separated or his marriage already being over or something, or not mention being married at all. At that point the other woman is also a victim and is also being manipulated.

I do think that the trust she build with the public of a person, who is nice and loving to her fans, was broken through this controversy. After Manchester, one could really feel her genuinity because of how much she opened up. With the death of Mac Miller, she showed her tears and mourned publicly, whilst continuing to release music. When the homewrecker news broke out, suddenly she‘s ice cold and keeps quiet. I‘m not saying she owns anybody an explanation, which she points out clearly but you can‘t claim to be misunderstood and try to appeal to the trust you‘ve built, while pointing middlefingers at the public (most likely to the ones who want to emphasize with her). So yeah I guess she should pick a side. Edit 2weeks later: thanks for the likes. I‘m actually a little embarrassed by my spelling. Sorry if it is/was hard to read! I’ve tried my best to correct it 👍🏼

I don‘t think that the japanese tattoo was a way to rebrand herself in the context of k-pop, since it literally means korean pop and japan has its own j-pop. If it was, then not only was the tattoo wrong (in terms of what it was supposed to mean), but also the wrong country to which culture she was trying to rebrand to.

People keep saying that because she's getting older, she won't be able to keep this up. I'm 44 and cute and nothing has changed for me because I grew older. If you look sweet and soft and innocent... that's just your vibe, no matter the age you are. My grandmother was the cutest and you just wanted to cuddle her to death and squish her with with love. Was she a stellar person? Not at all! NOT.AT.ALL. But the power of cuteness is strong. Ariana will always look cute and small and sweet and someone who needs protection. That's her essence. @jayceyallen77452 ай бұрын
Ppl are saying she's gotten things done to her face and maybe on ozempic. I'm not saying it's true or anything but typically when ppl get work done they don't age as gracefully and lose their natural beauty. I think as long as she is perceived as conventionally attractive, she will be able to play up the sweet and innocent act. But if she loses those looks from too much surgery or something, ppl will be quick to turn. JLo is one of the few celebs that despite her beauty, you can see she lost a lot of success from ppl realizing what an unlikeable person she is. But that's only after years and years and she can still retire and live comfortably.

Most of her scandals are just bad enough to get people talking about her but rarely bad enough to actually make her lose a big chunk of her fanbase over (most of the time.) and I think thats why she's historically been left unscathed by her scandals.

Thanks for reminding me to snap out of my delusional self-diagnosing and almost giving up on life. I was shocked that someone as talented as Ariana Grande can have such a successful career when I feel like I haven’t had any life experiences like she has, and I’m only 16. I was having an existential crisis and wanting to become a singer too. Not everyone is as perfect as they seem, and I was even trying to diagnose myself with OCD just because I found out Ariana has it, thinking I needed to be perfect like her. But the reality is, I can still make it even if I wasn’t born on Broadway or didn’t have hit childhood TV shows or anyone knowing me. This brought me down to earth and reminded me that I don’t have to make myself mentally ill like Ariana to be happy. She radiates success and happiness, and she’s my biggest inspiration, but my self-doubt always gets the best of me. I can finally breathe in peace, seriously. It’s nice to be a nobody, sitting comfortably without the world watching, and just being mentally healthy. Anyone can make songs and be happy; Ariana just chose to chase her dreams, and I haven’t done that yet.
