I had a Moroccan taxi driver in NYC about 5 years ago and he was such a special soul. I'll never forget our conversation to the airport. It always inspired me to visit Morocco, and hopefully sometime soon I'll finally get there. Beautiful video Zoey! 💜

Back at it with the travel diaries! Yayyy ! I fast during Ramadan, ofc now it's finished but it's like a special month where we don't eat from sunrise to sunset and we make time to pray and read quran. It's religious month I guess you can say. We've been taught that we do this too so we can feel for those people who struggle to have food and therefore we feel grateful for what we have

Happy to see you visiting Marrakesh, one of the special and most beautiful cities in Morocco. I recommend you to visit next if you can Agadir, Merzouga and Dakhla for the southern part of Morocco. Also for the northern part, Chefchaouen, Tangier, Tetouan and Asillah they re really worth a visit, especially Chefchaouen and Tangier. The kitty was actually being fed in the scene after Jafar's shop. I sat with her for about a half hour and a young boy told me she lives down the street and they all feed them in the surrounding shops

Zoey, you need to visit Tangier! You will love it its a mix of marrakech, but with sooooooo many beaches, but also has a cosmopolitan city vibe. plus side you can cross over to ceuta for a day trip by car or a boat trip to algeciras and gibraltar for the day :)
