Zolani Youth Choir Performs “Nkosi Sikelela i Africa (God Bless Africa)”

Zolani Youth Choir is from a small town called Ashton, in the community called Zolani (Western Cape). The existence of the choir is since 2012 through seeing that there are no cultural activities being offered neither at school nor in the community. The basic idea and purpose of the Choir is to equip members of their community with basic music skills. The Choir consists of 30 scholars from different schools who are between the ages of 12yrs to 18 years, who have no professional background in formal music, but have proven to have a passion and love for the art.
