When using the cell / WiFi service to send messages, does it count against your monthly text allotment?

Your cellular and WIFI messages are unlimited on all of the subscription plans. You only get charged for messages sent through the satellite network, over what is allowed in your subscription plan. Rick

Thanks Rick - I appreciate the quick feedback. One last question, if the phone is in airplane mode and you still have cell service, are messages unlimited or does it go against the allotment. Thanks again, Richie

Hey Richie, You can't send or receive texts/messages in airplane mode so it won't count against your subscription plan. Let me know if you have any other questions. Rick
