This is a generally overlooked piece, and it really deserves to be programmed more...There are moments when you hear that Hungarian folk element coming through, in the same way it naturally comes through in Bartok, but Kodaly is much more lyrical...but there is also a strong urban element to this music as well...almost like Gershwin, but with stronger contrasts and better orchestration.

I need the big old speakers to listen to a symphony. Too hard to listen to it coming out of the speaker at the bottom of a cell phone😢😂❤😊😮
