Also your tornado warning story is just like my situation staying in a hotel with my two pet ducks, we had a fire in the hotel my first night, I'm running through the halls at 5 AM in my pajamas, carrying two very disgruntled ducks in my arms, standing outside and freezing, with ducks....good times....

@@zoltancomedy Well I can tell ya, it wasn't much fun in the middle of a Seattle winter. If you can do something with the story, you have my permission to use my humiliation for material, you could probably tell it way better than I ever could. I don't think there's ever been a situation more awkward than having to explain to a bunch of firefighters why a young woman has no coat on, pre-dawn in the middle of a northwest winter, holding ducks, in front of a burning hotel. One of them looked me right in the eye and with the most deadpan expression, he asked me "So is this like, some new cruelty-free substitute instead of wearing a down jacket?" Sad thing is, with Seattle being Seattle, I'm pretty sure he was serious. I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop and turn my phone on one morning to see some animal activist or Avant Garde fashion designer strapping a goose to some poor runway model in the name of sustainable outerwear. If it happens, it's gonna come out of either Seattle or L.A., mark my words.

That is one sweet green room. I'm a musician and I totally agree, lots of green rooms are like closets with a lightbulb in them, totally useless. Half the places I play don't even have room for all the orchestra members to put their instrument cases. But the best part about that green room, aside from the chocolate table, of course, is the Kool-Aid Man painting behind you. Lol.

My 1st husband was a Marine from Georgia. I'm from Oregon. We flew to his home town to "meet the family" & have our wedding reception. So we're outside (like all 2freakin hundred of us) and I hear what sounds like air raid sirens! I turn around and everyone was GONE. I then see in the distance a moving line of trees bending over, a whistle gets my attention and it was my new husband peeking out from the garage he was stuffed in like a sardine with all the guests! He motioned frantically for me to join the fun in the garage. It was them or the monster coming at us that was laying down trees. 5 min and the sirens stopped, sun came back out, all the women that saved the food went back to set the tables like nothing happened. I was getting scowls from some of the relatives wondering what the hell kind of nut just married into the family, stands outside like a dumb *ss during a tornado??!

Thank you for the laughs! I'm a native Texan. We all just stand outside watching the tornadoes until it gets bad enough to run back inside (generally when you can't see through the horizontal rain and flying tree branches to the see the other side of the street! I'm surprised you weren't surrounded with a group of guys and dads, holding beers watching the weather come in until it's time to duck and cover! My sisters and I went with our dad to visit his family in Canada and it started to rain up there and we're all going 'Let's look at the weather radar and see what's going on. . . ', while getting strange looks from his side of the family asking us why we were so concerned about the rain. Although, there was a small tornado that came through when we landed from the flight there, so we brought a bit of the Texas weather with us!

@@TheOReport1994 I grew up playing outside in the rain (rains a lot in S. Oregon, or at least it use to) and we loved thunderstorms with lots of lightning. I've been in a few good storms where once while driving down the freeway, a huge bolt of lightning struck right next to the truck and bounced us over to the next lane which was luckily unoccupied at the time. Another freak storm I got caught in while driving in Sun Valley, NV. by Reno. The sky decided to dump all it's rain at once causing a flash flood that moved us along with the other vehicle across then off the road, and a transformer blew up right by us felt like Armageddon lol, then 5 min later the water was gone like it had never been there at all. Hows your guys weather down in Texas right now? I hear there's been weather nightmares all over the place (tornadoes, hurricane winds, floods, blizzards, flash freezing) even sunny California has feet of snow in some places.

In Austin though, they could come off of some of those bluffs and surprise people, so we took them more seriously even though they were more rare.

I loved your tornado warning story 😂. I accidentally locked us out of our family house when I was a kid. My cousin was inside snoring. Actual tornado coming. True story. I have always wanted to tell that story in a funny way to an audience. The funny part about that story was that the tornado was in Minnesota. I think it got lost! Not even part of tornado alley, and we were just chilling out having some sodas, and my cousin was napping inside... Now nobody locks doors in certain areas of Minnesota. It's just a rule. They just do neighborhood watch ✌️😂😋💞

Regarding the club venues talk at the end: Hospitality is right! The club should make the performer feel like a guest and welcome. I'ma musician and it's amazing the difference in how venues treat performers. Keep up the good work!

Feeling you on the Green Room vibe. I’ve been to quite a few Green Rooms and places that don’t have them. I remember one place had the nerve to say the band could eat in the kitchen. The guys did but me being the only woman in the band… I said absolutely not. Degrading and disgusting. The guys were hungry so I wasn’t mad at them but there was no way I was gonna eat in nobody’s kitchen. You are right, it doesn’t take much to just make some one feel like a human being. I love our Tsunami warnings here in Washington. Cops actual told us "It's a liability joke! That alarm let's you know you have 10-15 minutes, MAX, to head for high ground. Unless you live at the base of Mt. Ranier and can impromptu mountain climb like Rocky chewing Coca leaves, hang it up bud! Crack open a cold one, come sit down and meet a good friend of mine. . . Fate, and his faithful dog, Between a Rock and a Wet Place!" I didn't feel better but I found this dark humor a good Samaritan to any fear of death I possessed!

I had tickets to the original show, Sam Morrill, then found out he cancelled and got a refund. I knew Zoltan had replaced and I think he's hilarious too, but really we didn't even have a babysitter set up so I was going to have to cancel regardless or be in there with a crying 1 year old. Glad to see you uploaded some of the set. There's also a Cowboy Ranch Club/Bar in that building Bricktown Comedy in, I don't know what that means, but it's super country I surmise. There's a club called Cowboy's on the other side of town where they bring a real rodeo bull in. And people 1000% stand up in that McDonald's drive through at all time of day, even pull up in those Lift scooters
