If clovis have +1 melee dice, and is dual wielding short sword, shouldnt he gets 4 dices to roll? +1 melee dice per weapon?

The problem is that you added the dead eyes walkers into a mission wich not requires them. That's why you find it to be so complicated. Nice gameolay btw

Sorry, quick question as I'm still learning the game. The deadeye walkers in the spawn zone next to the door would not have line of sight to the survivors is that correct?

Timestamp? Their line of sight rules are the same as survivors, so the examples in the rulebook for LOS also work for them. Hope that helps out.

I don’t know why you needlessly made the starting scenario harder by adding the deadeye walkers? I could understand if you had 6+ characters but with only four is just rough.
