Zombicide - Gameplay 0B - The Scenario and Game Day!

One of the hardest pure co-op I have ever came across. However it's very enjoyable and makes for a TON of discussion and collaboration, both are things that all co-op games should focus on.

Glad we've made an impact on you. It's obvious that his name should be Rick :). First player should be Wanda. Since she moves 2 zones per action, she can move, open the door, and then based on the card draw she can act accordingly. If the first room is empty. she can move in and the rest of the team can meet there. If there's a zombie there, then she should remain in the zombie spawn zone and have the team meet her there, that way there should be enough of the team to handle anything that spawns

As far as strategy goes, i usually utilize Wanda's ability to to move twice as fast as everyone else to open up the doors on the far away building while all the zombies are still spawning blue. Its fantastic that she starts with the fire ax. She should be sent to the big room and the small room and just open the doors. she doesn't need to go in and collect any objectives.

Arg, I'll be at a birthday party. Good luck with the playthrough, though! I'll watch it on Twitch afterwards. :) Also, it's great that this will be streamed on Twitch. It's THE place to stream videogames, and if tabletop gamers can start to make a dent there, that can only be a good thing.

I say the order should be Josh, Amy, Phil, Wanda, then Doug or Ned. Josh goes 1st to open the 1st door. Amy because of the free move action to fire 2x into the building at the zombies that might spawn in the room at the door. Phil next to make sure the zombies are dead. Wanda could move in and be in the 1st room on her 1st turn if the zombies are kill in the 1st room before her turn. Ned could move to the 1st room if cleared and have his free search action. Phil just stays with group.

You should put Josh 1st spot, Wanda 2nd spot, Amy and Phil in some combination in 3 and 4 spots and Ned and Doug in either order 5th and 6th. First turn Josh moves and open the door, Wanda moves 4 spaces to the objective and searches(doesn't complete objective). Everybody else moves 3 spaces west and Amy and Ned search because of their abilities. Over the next 2 turns Wanda uses the axe to open the two doors north of her on the board while Amy and Phil cover the street between tiles 7B and 5B

When i played through this, I had two characters with guns effectively hold the crossroads whilst the rest searched the building. It worked to a degree but really accelerates one character into the higher experience tiers.

I have played once but some tips I would give would be, 1. avoid killing zombies atleast dont level up to yellow if you can help it. 2. early in the game send josh with slippery out alone. 3. split rest of players into 2 groups and when zombies close in on one group do your best to hide then make noise with other group to draw them back.

It strikes me that with zombies spawning in the rooms as soon as you break open a door, you want to break open the buildings with multiple rooms as early as possible -- specifically, before the danger level rises too high. Especially that four room building!

I would call for a Rick/Phil drinking game, but that would probably reduce the viewers very quickly... ;) I also wanted to say that based on your series, I bought Legendary at the Discount Game Store and absolutely love it (and the great service and prices at the DGS, shipping to Europe usually costs a lot more :) )

Played this scenario a couple of times, and I would recommend getting to the right spawn point and then opening some doors, so that the rooms spawn a blue level.

So I agree that the teams should be split in two with a gun in each and the crowbar and axe split as well. The Axe group should have the quicker/slippery players so they should aim for the item in 7B, while the other group goes silently for the item in 5B. One you knock down the door on 7B and get the attention of the zombies that way, I'd have the crowbar group go for 5C. Then both aim for the last objective in 2B.

1. Zombicide is not about winning the game; it is - as any good dystopian z-pocalypse story - a game about trying not to loose, and failing to do so; 2. Although I haven't played this map yet, take this advice: Don't split up. 3. Move counterclockwise starting with the building in the lower left corner; so same as zrissi. 4. Since crowbar and axe open doors, the starting character should be Josh.

I agree with Santa groogs, but the turns should be split up as evenly as possible, with the gun carrying character going first, then last. For example, group one gun, group two crowbar, group one pan, group two pan, group one axe, group two gun.

Fisrt i will suggest to split in 2 gangs of 3 in one group put the one with the gun + 1 with pan and 1 with the crowbar and the rest in the second group ....after that 1 group will go straight to the second building (the group with the gun) and the first group stay close to the first building and in the same time the first objective ...so when the 2 group will be inside the buildings they can pick up the objective in the same turn

Im Kickstarting Season 2 for this! Getting all the awesome extra characters! So mad i didn't get in on season one. The extra characters are going for $50-60 a piece on ebay lol

I think that we should have 2 house breaker groups and 1 zombie try to control group. The control group should be our 2 gun wielding players,Amy and Phil. They should hover around the center of the map and move where needed to kill zombies. Then I would put ned and josh together to enter the building at 5B then move to 7B. Then I would put Doug and wanda together to enter the building at 5C then move to 2B. This leaves the order Josh,Ned,Wanda,Doug,amy then phil. Hope we do great.

So we need to keep the experience points down, so if we could get all 4 objectives at the same time, less zombies would appear. Since we don't have enough survivors for 4 teams. 3 teams or 2 is possible. 3 teams would have pairs but would this be too dangerous? My idea if we used pairs, get all 3 objectives and than try to join the teams and go after that last objective. Or use two teams and go after two objectives and than 2 more.

Did you use a picture frame to make that dice box? That's what I did too loll! :D (by the way... if you did not kickstart this game, to avoid that running-out-of-zombies rule, I just use zombie miniatures from another zombie board game I own hehe... I won't let people who got the chance to kickstart this have an advantage over me!!)

don't know if you'll respond to this or not but i think you should start with phil, then go to amy, as to have your pistol weilders on point, fo mthere all the oters have nic knack weapons and the order really doesn't matter in my mind

Well, good luck in the suicide mission (i see this escenario more suicidal than the one in space hulk), sadly i can not see the gameplay, but surely will be fun. May the (dice) force be with you

Might as well just call "Phil" Rick Grimes, it will give the game a bit of a "Walking Dead" feel to it. Rick should go first, the reason? Being a police officer, he has a natural ability/tendency to lead the group through and out of the city. Doug should be given a second frying pan, so he can dual wield them. That in my opinion would just be funny.

First of all I bought this game and it's awesome I love it!!! second I've played all 10 scenarios and every time I played with Doug he always ends up with the pan. Why does Guillotine games hate him so much???

Does trading count as an action and if so, when people trades, do The recipients that trade get to edit their load out( put something in hand and put something in their backpack) for free or is it also another action
